Walmart

Just curious - those of you who did the Boost/Virgin shops (Walmart & other retailers) - was the representative there with a booth? The rep. at Walmart had no idea what I was asking about (electronics department rep.).

I haven't done those but my past experience with cell phone shops at Walmart is that nobody ever knows anything. You ask a question and they may manage to tell you that Betty knows about all that and she comes in at 8AM so is gone for the day (at 2PM). Of course you are more likely to have an associate with their name tag deliberately turned over who suddenly can't speak English.
The rep at Walmart having no clue what you were talking about is standard operating procedure at Walmart.

I did a cell phone shop at one and the guy couldn't care less if I bought a phone or which one I bought or anything else.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I've done seven or eight shops at Walmart looking for a different phone company's rep and have never seen a rep. I stopped applying for the shops because they're never there and I wind up with a reduced fee.

Thanks for the replies. I knew I would get the fee reduced to only $7. Luckily it was at my local Walmart where I regularly shop.
I've done 2 of these but I was looking for a cable/internet rep both times. They weren't there and I was approved for full pay. I love these shops because they're so easy since I know the rep isn't going to be there.
