“Scheduler of the Year” Contest – 9/1 - 9/14 ***NOMINATIONS CLOSED***

Teresa with Market Force. You work great with this shopper from the land time forgot. She always returns her calls, and helps fill in the blanks when I have questions and concerns.

Kim @ Kern Scheduling has had my back through good and bad. If I make a mistake (believe me it happens) she has done her best for me to keep the shop and make sure I get paid. She responds to my urgent emails (sometimes I know I am a pain in the ...) quickly. I never feel ignored or the only one working that day. Thank you Kin.
Shelly Martin - KSS International

Shelly is what a scheduler should be: Prompt, efficient, clear, professional, accurate and persistent. Then she is the extra things that make my life easier: Kind, empathetic, caring, forgiving, patient, helpful ... the list goes on and on. Shelly is great to work with.
Tktmstr - It's Erika Wooton that schedules at ACE. She IS fabulous, but my vote probably does not count. smiling smiley

A huge shout-out to Shanon Rath at CTCSS. She's professional, efficient, friendly, and understanding, and has been without exception wonderful to work for. Thank you, Shanon!
Shelly Martin - KSS International, she is quick to respond to any & all questions I may have. She always includes me if there are any shops in my area. She is awesome!!!
Alan Juarez -- KSS International, INC.

Alan is the most dedicated, personable and APPRECIATIVE scheduler I have ever worked with. Because he knows he can count on me, he often calls or writes to tell me about shops the minute they become available so that I have a great shot at first pick. He also contacts me when he has urgent shops that others have dropped and adds great bonuses to get them done quickly. When there has been a limit of four shops per day for a client, he has received and granted permission for me to do five. I can count on a very reliable income while working with Alan. He has gone to bat for me several times with his manager about various issues. The most incredible event happened just recently: I had a shop with a due date of 8/30, which fell over the Labor Day weekend, when all the schedulers were off and the MSC was closed. When I tried calling the location on 8/30 to find out the hours that day, I heard that the line was disconnected, and all evidence (the disconnected phone line, a statement by a store representative at a different location, and even a Google streetview map) indicated that the store was no longer there. Thinking that my travel time and fare would be wasted if I rode out to that shop, I emailed Alan, requesting advice, knowing that he had the day off. Long story short: He replied (on his day off -- not unusual for him!), but I still missed the due date because of weekend train and bus schedules that afternoon. However -- instead of declaring me a flake -- Alan miraculously had the due date extended to 9/1 (the project was supposed to have ended 8/30), and I completed the shop (the store was there, after all!) on Labor Day, itself, with an additional bonus on top of the bonus that he'd already offered! It was not even the first time that Alan had had my bonus increased. Frequently, after I've completed my shops, Alan sends an email to tell me I am AWESOME! Believe me, when Alan has shops for me, I drop almost everything else, because he is so incredible to work with -- THE ideal scheduler. I hardly ever have to read the job board, because Alan lets me know directly when great shops are available. He's also friendly, funny, honest and ethical. I've worked with good schedulers before, but none comes close to Alan, not even remotely. He is THE BEST!
^ Alan's with KSS, but I agree, he's a dream. smiling smiley

Isn't Alan actually with KSS? They certainly seem to be getting a disproportionate number of "votes" all of a sudden.

I would have to vote for Shelly Martin from KSS. She is always there to help if you have any questions and is very easy to work with on just about any matter. When stuff comes up in life and you need to make a quick change, she has got your back.
Shelly Martin - KSS International

I need a scheduler that is there when it is needed and helps me out with whatever I need to have resolved. Then as well someone who gets my side of the situations and makes the right call quickly. Always though a scheduler who comes across as all about making the day work out for me is foremost on my list. Someone who has my back out there in the shopping world is what I demand and shelly delivers hands down.
This election is fixed. I, Al Gore, demand a recount.

I would like to nominate Cassandra from Market Force. She is always polite and easy to speak with.
I would also like to nominate Vicki from Market Force. She explains the program very well and is always available for advice.
Shelly Martin - KSS International

Shelly is da bomb!

I appreciate that she makes herself available and can be counted on to be flexible and communicative.
The essence of a good working relationship in this business is a two way street and Shelly holds up her end every time!
Ellen Poe from Service Savvy. We've talked a bunch of times. And even Facebook friends.
Dixie = Shoppers Critique

Always a pleasure to speak with. She calls me and says, "Can you?" And I reply, "Of, course I can." One shop on particular I arrived 30 minutes after opening and the business had a padlock on the door. Of course it was a weekend. I left her a message, I took a time stamped picture and emailed it to her. I had a route to complete that day so I couldn't hang around to see if someone would appear. She called me on Monday. Confirmed employee overslept but still needed the job completed. Since it wasn't my error I asked for a bonus and she gave it to me. Love her!
April Andrews-White Clay

There is only one shop for this company in my area. I picked up the shop when it already had a bonus attached to it. I got sick and couldn't complete as scheduled she rescheduled graciously. I completed the shop and she emailed me thanking me for doing it and encouraged me to work with them again. Next month rolled around. I waited thinking someone would take it. I emailed her, let her know if she needed someone to let me know and I'd be happy to do it again. I don't remember what the rotation was but she emailed me back. Thanked me for letting her know I was there. Ended up doing it again for another bonus. Third time came around I no longer qualified but I referred my sister and still got paid a referral. Thanks April, you're the best.
I just noticed that the sudden surge of votes for KSS Schedulers not only came from mostly first time posters, but ALL of the first time posters remarkably ALL registered today and ALL within a few minutes of each other - rofl

Marguerite Turner From A Closer Look.

Marguerite is always quick with email responses and is flexible for changing dates on shops. She called me just to keep in touch and discuss mystery shopping in general. A friendly and professional scheduler.
Tracy. You are not the only one who has noticed. It seems our resident @#$%& has forwarded this thread to certain Schedulers. That destroys a great idea to let Shoppers Voice their Opinion. There are a lot of Great Schedulers out there. I consider the current vote fixed. Sigh...

It's quite sad really, that someone feels the need to do that. I have worked with many of the talented schedulers you are voting for. You are all right, they are fabulous. We can just keep going and disregard the votes we all know who they are being posted by.

Wait - what?

I'm confused... who/what is @#$%&? And how is MrComputer in-the-know about what someone allegedly sent to schedulers? Are you a scheduler, MrComputer, or just good friends with one?

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
Yes, I would have to agree that Shelly is my favorite scheduler. She is very flexible and has helped me out in a pinch. I like that she is easy to work with and available when necessary. Great job, Shelly! smiling smiley

Welcome to the forum, skhammer! Interesting choice of screen name. How is it pronounced - like scammer? You were here all of two minutes after registering. I'm so glad you were able to find the correct thread to place your nomination! And so quickly! Almost like someone directed you here.

You know, I think recognizing great schedulers is a nice thing to do, but this becoming a joke.
Hahaha. You pronounced it the same way as megrinning smiley

still learning. Your actions dictate how I respond to you. You started off with a Great idea! Why taint it? Inviting Schedulers to this thread defeats the purpose and changes the results. I hope you do not conduct your Mystery Shopping this way.

LJ. Princess Stompy Food is a term used for several posters based on their actions. And yes, I have many close friends that are Schedulers. That is my primary reason for wanting and objective Shopper vote on this topic. There a lot of Great Schedulers out there. No need for stuffing the ballot box.

Let me give you a good example. Tracy Z and I have had a difference of opinion in the past on shop reporting. I respect her views and that does not detract from the great job she does.
