PDMA audits

I have been doing PDMA audits for over twelve years for what is now Global Compliance/IntouchInsights. I enjoy them but the number of assignments has decreased over the years due to industry changes and downsizing. I would like to find other companies to work for that do these audits. I know there is RGIS but I think that one is a full time employee and does other kinds of audits for them. Does anyone know of other companies?

Look under merchandising. Many fall there. And many are going via the way of apps. I did an audit this morning Walgreens on my phone. Two minutes. No paperwork.
What are PDMA audits? I have seen and done several types of audit, but am not familiar with this acronym.
PDMA is Prescription Drug Marketing Act which regulates drug reps. You count their samples and check that the storage is secure and meets temperature conditions. You call the reps to make an appointment.

Really? The only PDMA audits I've done have been as porterwj described or closeout audits. What other scenario is there?

They are always the same for me. The only variation I've ever had was the closeout where
I had to wait in a lobby while the district manager was firing the rep before I could start.

I have only seen PDMAs as porter described.

I have seen the MMS? Medical Marketing Safety? ones, I think they're called.... where you go to drugstores, pharmacies, and medical offices, take pamphlets, read them, and scan and upload them. You answer a few questions like "What is the drug/treatment found? What are the FDA approved indications?" Does this informational brochure indicate anything other than the FDA approved indications?" If so, you write that section out, word for word, and upload an additional scan, a close-up of that one.

They don't pay much, at only $12-$15 per pop, but it adds up if you are doing a medical office complex, where there can be 15-45 offices, all with waiting rooms. Unfortunately, some are total busts, as you are only allowed to evaluate the brochures available to the public (in the waiting room) not any which they keep behind their desks and hand out to patients. Some offices have no pamphlets in the waiting area, so... total busts.

The other drawback is that you are paid per location, not per pamphlet. If you get offices which only have one or two pamphlets in the waiting areas, it's quick and painless. The ones which have a ton... totally suck. You have to scan and upload all of them.

The major plus for me, is that you are normally allowed to choose your own locations, if they've not been evaluated recently.

I only get an email to do them about once a year, I think sometimes 18 months? But every time, I sign up for three local medical complexes. There is a lot of prepwork involved because if choosing your own locations, you have to look up and provide the office name, doctors' names, and the address, including Suite #s.

Plan the work. Work the plan.
Forgot to add, they are also going the way of apps. I've seen the Discount Prescription Drug one on Rewardable... and I used to do those under the same company as the Medical Marketing ones. What I've seen on the apps though, they list complete addresses, not choose your own addresses like I'm used to. So hopefully this company is still doing them, and I'll get the same phone call and email in the next few months.

I believe they do retail inventories, probably among other things.

Here is the link for RGIS [rgis.com] I think you are an employee rather than an independent contractor.
