Papa John's Survey -- "FREE Pizza Opportunity for Papa Reward Members!"

Just received an email from Papa John's, inviting me (and millions of others signed up for coupon codes/news) an opportunity to get free pizza for providing valuable feedback.

I clicked the link, and it directs to the main MSC's page, detailing instructions. No photos needed, no mutilation, just short feedback about the service and quality of the pizza. For providing the feedback, you'll earn ten points on your Papa Rewards account... a free pizza.

I wonder if this means no more pizza porn for mystery shoppers.

In past years during football season they have offered free pizza to the general public for taking pictures with your cell phone, if I recall correctly. There were no flips or cuts or other requirements or restrictions if I recall correctly. Never bothered because we don't like the pizza to start with.

Time will tell if they cut back on mystery shopping. What I do know is that they have offered various promotions that give a free pizza or points on the PJ rewards account. It is also my impression the photos mystery shoppers provide are valuable information about how the pizzas are being prepared. This photo-less feedback cannot provide similar information in that same way.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
I thought <Oops!> was the Mystery Shop that mostly dealt with Papa John's.

Mod note: Welcome, grilldog! Please do not link MSC with client in your postings -- doing so is almost certainly prohibited by the ICA you signed with the MSC in question; but the forum's owner has also requested that we not do so. Thanks! smiling smiley
No, not around these parts... they are just the cheaper ones. You should probably edit your post to remove the MSC's name though, as the client has been mentioned.

How dare Papa John's reveal the name of the MSC
that handles their account to millions of people!

Mod, I know you know how much I've always loved your witty posts and now, after after all of this time, I am just finding out how competitive you are (fanning myself). Whoa, momma! smiling smiley

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
I almost "liked" the mod's note, then realized I'd be liking my own post, LOL.

Is your daughter still hiding in her 3 y.o. closet? Her bedroom should be spotless by now!

I got an email from Papa John's yesterday. They're finally trying to expand the pool of shoppers, rather than pointlessly switching MSCs for the umpteenth time. Here's the enclosed link:

[tinyurl.com]
"As a Papa Rewards Member we'd like to offer you a unique opportunity to earn Free Pizza by providing us feedback on your pizza experience. If you'd like to become part of our winning Quality Feedback Team and provide us with your invaluable feedback, please visit [tinyurl.com]

Offer expires 9/20/2014"
You did see they're recruiting for one specific MSC that has their account? But I suppose they're trying to get some people into the mix that don't already hate their pizzas like some of us do.

Well, maybe it will work out for them. More likely they'll cause existing loyal customers to hate them too after they look forward to a yummy meal and realize it will be cold and mangled before they get to chow down.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
It would be nice if we could credit our online Papa Rewards account with the cost of the pizzas we're required to purchase for the mystery shopping program.

One buzzard to another while circling high overhead (paraphrased), "Patience hell! I want to shop somewhere."
Has anyone noticed there is now (as of 2 weeks ago new) yet another MSC who is handling PJ's pizzas.
I doubt Papa John's will rely solely off of the customer feedback surveys. The level of inaccuracy is pretty high. I could imagine the majority of people marking all 5's throughout the entire survey, kind of like what we do to get the free chicken sandwich on the bottom of our Chick-Fil-A receipts...

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
So instead of improving the product they look for new "shoppers" ? That is seriously funny.

That's pretty much been their M.O. for years, Coffee. They've been with every MSC of any size at all out there!
