You are not allowed to return it. I did not see anything in the guidelines against it, but it does say payment is reimbursement for purchase. This MS always states on the guidelines when you are supposed to do a purchase and allowed a return that you the return is optional, can be done any time, and do not need to report the return.

S2L, if you do this shop, please, please get the Harrier kit. I can't find it anywhere. I will pay you for it, of course.

BB, I was trying to get the female scientist kit. I called all 5 locations in my immediate area and asked their shipment delivery schedule, by what time it gets on the sales floor, and how many pieces they get. Then I staked the locations and got the 2 sets that I wanted.
My closest location is hours away and they won't special order. sad smiley The only Harrier kit I'm finding online is the simpler one and doesn't come with Marine flight mechs. It isn't the one I need... they tell me it's a Lego store exclusive, but won't fudgin' special order it for me.

It has been some time since my son was into Lego. There is a Lego store not far from me at 166 Christiana Mall, Newark, DE 19702 (with the advantage that there is no sales tax in DE) and if you can find something there that you want, I would be willing to pick it up and ship it to you on behalf of happy kids everywhere. (Leogland in Carlsbad, CA was quite amazing - it was probably 15 years ago that we went there.)

I will take any unwanted legos and will pay for them and/ or shipping and handling - please an thank you!

Just lost trying to find a fire pit in a concrete jungle wishing it was a wooded glen...

if it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all
Shop2LiveinFL,

I hear many people complain about the new car shops. Yes, the reports require a ton of narrative. They could pay more IMO but I really do enjoy them.
I know these two shops are completely different, but thought I would put my two cents in! LOL

You can do a shipping shop with it.
The most recent instructions I saw say you can no longer use the shopping option during the shop.
I think KateH was saying that the shopper could sign up for one of those shipping shops through another MSC. I do not do those shops either.

Oh, got it........I never do the shipping shops. That would be a good combination to maximize reimbursements.
Another shop I need to find! My kids love legos and I really want the female scientists - technically for them, but a little for me smiling smiley
Christmas is coming and a Lego kit donated to Toys for Tots or any other toy drive, may be a young child's only gift. (Stepping down from soapbox now ;~D)
I normally really dislike purchase shops, but in this case what an opportunity to make a child happy without being out of pocket a dime. You'll be a hero!
AGHHHH....I wish we could disclose companies. I would love to do a Lego shop since I use them in my classroom. Oh well.....I will just continue to sign up for more companies!
FYI, I had emailed this MSC about returning my purchase back at the end of last year. They told me that unless the instructions for a particular shop say you cannot return something, you are welcome to return it. The last time I did the Lego shop, it did not say you couldn't return the item so I did. They just don't want you returning something on the same visit.

Hell yeah. They're easy once you do one or two. I'd recommend anyone looking to purchase a car anytime soon and don't have much experience dealing with dealerships, to take these jobs. I feel like I have the salesman's cheat sheet. You get really good at dealing with car salesman when you have no pressure to buy.
I got one this morning. I am actually really excited.

I did this shop and returned the kit anyway. I waited a few weeks to do so then went back and no problems. I still got paid.
I've never tried to return it.. Yay free Lego (for the kids)!!! I can't remember what the return policy is but I don't see why you couldn't do it. I would make sure I get paid first or not take the shop at all.

Not trying to be rude or anything but I would like to understand. Why take a Lego shop if you're just going to return the toy later? It seems kinda dry to take a shop for kids toys only to return it later when another shopper out there would love some free toys... Just some food for thought. Plenty of non purchase shops at that fee or higher to go around.

Dixie Whiskey,
I returned the Lego kit because I mystery shop for the money, and the location of this store is very close to my home and other shops. It's silly for me not to take it. As for other shoppers and kids, well I hate kids, and I'm not concerned with what other shoppers in my area may need.
