New Mcdonald's shops

Who is doing the new Mcd shops. (From a different MSC not their regular one)

You have to buy 8 breakfast items for a 25 dollar reimbursement.
and the shop must be completed before 9am.

You get a big shop fee of 5 dollars!!!

I know everyone is jumping to do these.

Haven't seen these but think I will pass unless I need to feed a bunch of people some morning. I do food shops sometimes to give the for to seniors in my building who wouldn't get to eat otherwise. I can't buy food for them but can write a report for free food sometimes. Did 30 pizza shops last month...I made a little money but fed these seniors many meals. I'm sort of in a cash flow crunch right now and they are grumbling about no pizza. Lol. One complained that it was always pepperoni. I told her she would have to wander in the wilderness for 40 years if she kept complaining about the manna that costs her nothing. Lol

I'm doing one on Tuesday. I normally have to stop at McD's for my boss on my way in to work. (He pays me back) I got kinda excited over this one because, with the exception of the oatmeal, it's exactly what I have to get for him anyway.

Plan the work. Work the plan.
I think they are "jumping" off bridges instead instead of jumping to order so many sandwiches..smiling smiley

I do not like McD breakfast sandwiches and think they are a walking-heart-attack sandwich.

One time I did one and the DT portion, I found a hungry soul in Wal-Mart parking lot and gave the entire breakfast to himsmiling smiley
WTG Sunny! There is a hungry person at nearly every freeway ramp in Phoenix. I pass water, pizzas, bags of burger and fries out my car window all the time. I may get $7.50-$15 for myself but someone will eat that stuff! Instead of shaking my fist and asking God why he doesn't do something. His command is for me to "Do Something!" This is something that requires thought and effort since I'm pretty cash poor, but I can "Do something!"

If I have something in my car I will try and give it to the homeless. To me it feels good to help themsmiling smiley
What a great idea to give to the people in need!

Gonna remember that for my food bank volunteers and clients!
I keep one of those huge bags of snack sized chip bags in my back floor board with all those bottles of water people push on me. I always have something I can "do" that doesn't involve giving money. I did a Five Guys shop once and gave the meal to panhandler outside. Next time I was there, a store employee told me the guy had tried to return the meal for cash!!! Lolol

Years ago, I managed a bakery (privately owned, never shopped) and we donated a lot of our day olds and leftovers to various charities. Anything that was packaged was marked so we knew it had been donated. Well, one day a guy comes in and tries to return a package of chocolate chip cookies that had been donated. Our general manager took the cookies away and told the guy to get out of the store. It was awesome.
iblessyah the vast majority of panhandlers these days do it as
their "job" and have zero interest in food. Some make well over
hundred bucks a day doing it.

With these food shops (Five Guys, McDonald's) don't you have to taste each sandwich? Do you cut off part and give away the rest?

The harder I work, the luckier I get.
OMG! I can barely choke down the required eat in portion of the regular shop! And I get good money when I do them.

O.o o.O

Happily shopping New England and beyond!!!!!
These shops are pretty easy to do.I have done these shops before. I have both a breakfast shop and also another shop in the afternoon to due on Tuesday.

I love your idea smiling smiley

Back in the early 2000's when I managed a bakery, they would not allow us to give anything past expiration.

I would mark down on the night before expiration and they said that was fine.

But anything left the next day, had to be thrown away. They were worried about possible health risks (and freshness) so it was ordered we could not give it away.

We "could" however bake extra pies and cookies and donate to the shelters around holiday time. smiling smiley
I've done these occasional shops for McD before. My favourite was whaen I got to buy 4 iced coffees. Put 3 in the fridge and and refroze them in my ice cream maker.
If it's still available Tuesday morning and if I get called to sub in that town I will be delighted to have breakfast there.
i won a year free of mcdonald's coffee as part of their
celebration for today, National Coffee Day. My morning's just
got cheaper while on the road!

Since the client has been named, to tell you the MSC regardless of food quality, would be a violation of our ICA's.

BTW, welcome to the forum! You'll find a lot of good info here!

I took this question as: "What's a good mystery shopping company to work for?"

At first, it looks like "Who is the mystery company you are talking about that shops McDonald's?"

Would this OP care to elaborate what he/she meant by the question?
I didn't get that at all, Sunny. Illegal, lazy or illiterate requester was how I took it! Go figure!

If you read the sentence carefully, the person seems to struggle with the language. I did not take the person as lazy but just possibly misunderstanding shopper rules in general smiling smiley
Okay. Perhaps if he/she learned our language it wouldn't present such a problem with interpretation!
Okay, that's four insults you've hurled at a total stranger who had the misfortune to not know the rules before posting. It doesn't matter which interpretation you applied; the answer was the same, and you promptly gave it, quite politely, and welcomed them -- and then in the next post were calling them names.

Some welcome.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Maybe the moderator or the poster can delete/edit the insulting posts, since they do not serve any real purpose.

I have a friend who works at a bakery. They have the same corporate rule...throw away all the expired food. Fortunately they have a gentleman who comes in to collect the expired food as pig food. Although the staff doesn't officially know, it is common knowledge that in reality this gentleman donates the 'animal food' to the local food kitchen charities.

He can't give it to the food banks as they won't accept expired food either. Everyone is too afraid of getting sued these days.

I don't think the moderators need to remove the insulting posts. I think that we, as forum members, are capable of showing that bestofbothworlds does not display the opinion of most of us. As forum members we are equally capable of expressing our opinions and showing qianatierra how the majority of us took the question and what we think of inappropriate remarks.

I think actually leaving the post in is the better way to go as all future readers will realize that the forum members do not accept inappropriate remarks. If the moderators simply remove the offensive comments then this will not be as obvious.
