Anyone get this 1000 cups of coffee email?

My problem seems to be different. I was able to see the locations available but got the storage message when I tried to accept the shop near me. I did not have private browsing activated.

Time to upgrade that OLD phone. Everyone should be running Android 4.x by now.

You can get a decent onlocked no contract BLU phone for $79 with free shipping from Amazon.

Since when is an iPhone 5 running iOS 7 an OLD phone?

Plan the work. Work the plan.
LOL. Since iPhone 6 came out? I think scanman was being funny.

I was able to enter my shop with the help of their support people.

I did notice that the pointer for the shop was pointing to the corner of the parking lot, probably 100 yards from the actual entrance to the store. So I think my problem may have had to do with the pointer not knowing where the Starbucks actually was, and only knew where the address was on the curb. They need to widen the allowable "distance" from the site to 1/4 mile to allow for location services not being precise. I tried logging in with a different browser at the other end of my strip mall, and was able to get it to acknowledge me -- but it knew I wasn't in front of the Starbucks. But even when I moved back down to about 50 feet from the door to the shop, it still thought I was too far away. The only way I could have gotten any closer would have been to drive into the building. But I was probably 100 yards from where the blue pointer was actually pointing to the corner of the parking lot.

I was able to pull an accurate Geoverify that pointed exactly to where I was parked, so I think the "system" knew where *I* was, it just didn't know where the Starbucks was.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Is there a refresh thang when I'm on the Presto screen? I had it near my home location in the morning. When I was about 20 miles away in the afternoon, it still showed my home location instead of locating where I was. I had to close the page and tap on another email for it to show my current location. If I did not happen to have another sassie email, how would I refresh it to my current location?

Jack when are you going to improve sassie's awful photo upload
system. I can upload 50 photos to prophet in the time it takes
to upload one photos to a sassie form. Prophet does it at the end.
You do it at each spot!

How long is it supposed to take to get paid? I did mine yesterday morning (9/29).

I was paid on the evening of 9/29, for the survey done that morning. I chose paypal, maybe it's different if you took one of the other payment options?

They said 2 to 3 days. Some were paid fairly quickly the same day, but by now they're having to process 1000 payments.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Paypal for me too. Thanks Dspeakes, I couldn't find that info anywhere. Good point about 1000 payments. winking smiley

This app ROCKS! The coffee shops pay super fast....within 3-5 hours! It would be great if they could increase the payment time for other shops. I know they cant do that for all shops but it still would be great if they could do it for others.
Gigwalks usually pay within hours to a few days. This app will be competing with Gigwalks, so they will probably strive for similar turnaround.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I got the email. Did 3 shops and had the pay in my PP account by the next morning... I will be regularly checking that app from now on!!!

O.o o.O

Happily shopping New England and beyond!!!!!
Got my Paypal payment today. Looking forward to more shops like this.

I did one not too complicated. Payment options need google wallet. More of the check paying companies need to had you their shops
I have used it a couple times already, can only do the same shop once, super easy form and they pay the same day.
Well, I am a bit embarrased to admit that I am afraid of these shops, and my cell phone, but I am. They don't pay anything much over what it costs to get coffee and I have never tried to upload anything to anyone else from my phone. Besides, they have to be done in one hour. That hardly gives me time to think about it. You may have guessed I am old, but have had a computer since 1984, and am not normally scared of technology, but I actually think I inadvertantly signed up for one of these shops when I was just looking the site over! YIKES! And I saw no way to get out of it..I think it is an interesting concept, but, until they actually pay enough for me to spend more time on my learning curve, I am gonna pass.
Jack - Will you be adding the Apple phone to the list? I do not have an Android ... but I do have an iPhone 5.
I was excited when I saw this email. I went the next morning to a D&D and loaded the page in the parking lot. Everything was fine until I tried to select the shop and I got the error "Browser is not supported." I found this odd as it was supposed to support iPhone4S. I tried three more times using the Safari browser. It never occured to me to use Firefox or Chrome. I should have. So that one didn't work out.
Okay....Plan B. I took my Samsung tablet to the "Green" store since I could use their wi-fi and snap my picture. I sat down first to connect to the internet and tried and tried and tried. I eventually learned that the wi-fi was down. So that one failed too. I was disappointed since I've had great success with Mobee and Gigwalk and others.
Is there a known issue with Safari? Does it work on an iPhone 4S with a different browser. I would have loved to have been a charter shopper.
I did 5 of these shops, and they paid quickly! I would do these again without hesitation!
Since so many of you "1000 Cups of Coffee" shoppers were interested in doing more Insta-Shops, I thought I'd direct you to our new batch of Insta-Shops, the "1000 Counts of Counties" project, posted here : [www.mysteryshopforum.com]

It's longer than the usual Insta-Shop but pays quite well ($100-$200)!

I guess I'm not the only one that missed out here lol...
Here are the states that have locations: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY
Nothing coming up. where in Arizona are they? I've checked Phoenix and Flagstaff and my own town. Pretty sure I'm the only shopper in Payson who knows this app exists.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I zoomed out and managed to find one in rural Virginia.
