$25 blood draw shop--Is it worth it?

I am debating if I should accept this drug screening mystery shop. I am drug free, so I am not concerned about failing. I am just wondering if my blood should be drawn for a Mystery Shop?? Anyone have experience with these kinds of shops? Is it an easy $25 or is the survey a headache?

Thanks!

In another thread, I mentioned that I had done a blood draw shop for Second to None. Everything went well, except that the receptionist did not have a name tag, did not have a name plate, and basically refused to tell me her name. I submitted the report with an explanation of why her name (I had the name of the phlebotomist and all the required paperwork) was missing. They rejected the shop because of the missing name. IMHO, they have a problem with an employee and they should have wanted that information. There was no one else in the office but those two and patients. I provided a description. The client could have identified her.

In one of the emails I received for this it says although the center does the blood draw, when it arrives at the lab it is destroyed and not processed. The lab knows to discard it but the center of course does not.

My concern with this shop would be though is that there is ALWAYS some risk every time a needle is put in the body. Although very slim, blood clots can form, mistakes can happen, ect. If something happens, what legal protection do you have as an IC per the contracts we sign?
It's tempting, but I don't know. I donated plenty of blood through my 4 pregnancies to save a life, so I don't know if I can do it again. What if they decide they don't want to pay me like myst? I can handle not getting paid on other shops, but not when it involves needles.

Thanks for the help! I have deceided my blood isn't for sale. hahaaa!

My opinion is that if you are going to make money with a blood draw, go ahead and sell your blood! It pays more than $25 and I would think your exposure to risk is about the same.

I've done them. They are simple. Needles don't bother me. I'd do one of these every week if I could.
They can have a vial of my blood for $25 - I give it away free when I donate anyway but I do not have a fear of needles. If I was going to faint I would have to pass.
