When is the slow down?

I have seen several people allude that shops slow down in November/December. When do you start to see the decline? Do they pick back up in January and are there still audits and gas stations avalible?

November last year I made basically nothing.. We'll see about this year cause I'm signed up with more companies and I've pretty much doubled my profits from every month last year.

I would say more so mid Jan, Feb.. Depends where you live and who you shop for. Gas shops are usually quarterly but again depends on MSC

I was busy, busy, busy last November and December with all kinds of shops. I took a couple of weeks off in January to recuperate. Regarding gas station shops, I agree with dixiewhiskey - they are usually done quarterly but it depends on the MSC. I did a bunch of them last February and March.

I don't know if i agree with the nov dec being slow. I was really busy last year with a bunch of holiday shops. It cuts off on holiday days, but it wasn't as bad as some say. I also do this part time though...

Thanks!!! This is my first year and I am still figuring out trends. I am in the metro Atlanta area and there never seems to be a shortage of shops. I have booked some for November already. I am hoping to maintain my same level of income.
There's a slow down?

There is no slow down. There may be less of exactly what you want, but there is always more than you can do.

I didn't experience a slow-down last holiday season. I was busy up until the 21st when I declared it was my time to holiday to the new year.

Last november was my busiest month ever; December one of the slowest. But not sure if that was my choice or lack of opportunity.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Thanks y'all!! I use my mystery money to fund my horse addiction! I need to purchase winter hay and am also working at my schools afterschool program. I hate the ASP job!!! I want to quit but just wanted to make sure there would still be money I could make in the winter months shopping. It is soooooooooooooooooooooo much easier than wrangling these kids!! LOL!

I have been working for Maritz for over five years doing mostly gas station audits in the Atlanta metro area, too. Most of their clients that do shops quarterly don't shop the last quarter of the year because of the lead-up to Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The one that does shops semi-annually will schedule shops into early November but offer bonuses for the straggler shops from mid November until mid December. If you don't mind traveling a bit, good money can be made in other metro areas nearby like Birmingham and Montgomery AL, Jackson MS, Knoxville and Nashville TN, Columbia and Charleston SC and Charlotte NC.

I love the Maritz Gas shops!! I did 30 last month alone!! Right now they are my favorite company! I will keep an eye out of the November ones. What areas do you shop? Is there always something to shop in Atlanta?
