Squee! Enjoying the fruits of my shop labor!

Earlier today I completed a tv service competitor phone shop where you call and threaten to cancel. Like a lot of 'threat to cancel' calls the instructions always mention how this shop may save you money or get you good stuff... blah blah blah :-)

I already get a very good rate on my tv service so I wasn't expecting much, but I had a valid scenario ready and made my call - and whaddya know? I am now enjoying 100+ more channels for only $5 more a month! And we get the SEC channel now that makes my husband so so so happy. After my daughter saw that we get Nickelodeon again she did a little dance.

So now I am kicking back with some whiskey on the rocks, a belly full of shopped delivered PJ pizza (don't judge, I enjoy not cooking and having leftovers for lunches) and watching Fast Times at Ridgemont High on my new channels.

I like it when shops make my family happy. This didn't make my daughter as happy as the Circus shop, but it came close :-)

Thanks for listening. I hope everyone out there is also kicking back enjoying the stuff shops bring you!

I just did an in home carpet cleaning shop that made the hubby SO happy and was a total breeze. Considering the paperwork was easier than my recent Yankee Candle shop, I was blown away that it paid $15 and $140 worth of cleaning. Now I am a hero in his eyes because our living room no longer smells like a dog
Good for you! It is awesome when something works out well. Definitely makes it worthwhile after a long day and three hours of reports await.
I love nothing more than my $20 worth of high end chocolate that totally gets reimbursed. It's a nice splurge. LOL.
Today, I just used a post office shop to send my nieces a package - filled with candy and snacks (gas station shops), Lisa Frank pencils and erasers (Spencers shops), twisty.. things.. that they give my daughter every time to play with at a casual dining shop - she never plays with them, a coloring book I got at a grocery shop and crayons that I got at a drug store shop. It may not pay the bills but this is my fave part of mystery shopping.
I'm going to kick back with a glass of my free wine. There are so many bottles, I'll need to buy a new wine rack during a future BBB shop.
Well done, EVERYONE! This is what we do and what we get and even a lot more!!! It's so nice to read these posts and smile in agreement.
I did that cable TV cancellation shop and reduced my bill by $40/month while keeping all of the services and increasing my internet speed. My bill hasn't been this low in years. I am also enjoying $32 worth of fine Belgian chocolates and will be saving $100 a year on my auto insurance after a shop I did yesterday. And I had lasagna from Dean and DeLuca for dinner twice this week, courtesy of a mystery shop. Life is good!

I want the wine. I do get some nice perks, but wine? I wish I knew how to find that one.
Good job! It's great when MS lines up with 'real life'. I've been seeing the cable shops go by, but unfortunately I don't have the right provider. I can, however, still get paid $15 a month to go into my cable provider's physical location, pay my bill, and write up a simple report. Um...OK!

But, I want to chocolates...is it a specific chocolates shop or just one where you happen to be able to buy chocolate at the store?
Mine is a chocolate store, but I believe there are only 5 locations in the US.

Mine has been a two and a half year labor of love and diligence... My vegetable garden. All of the purchased items were completely shopped between the DIY store shop fees and a local farm and garden center which provides decent reimbursement. The rest was scavenged from Freecycle and the Free section on Craigslist... Fertilizer, manure, half-full containers of plant food, hanging flower pots. (I cut a hole in the bottom and use these for tomato and pepper plants.)

Wine reimbursements for mystery shopping?? That would be awesome!!! I went to liquor stores and bought wine for those payment card shops, but that is long gone.
Isn't it lovely to always get a better deal? Great job! And the family is happy too.

I just had to edit the rest out because that portion without commas struck me as great. I do think that God would find chocolate a church temple activity for sure. Love it!
You guys can keep your perks. I did a fine dining and saw Keanu Reeves. I'm still flying high. The man is 50 and doesn't look a day over 34. And he looks exactly like he does in the movies. H.O.T.

Love the fact that I have two big bag of peat moss for free for my seedlings next year! LOL
Holy crayfish Suey...Keanu...sigh. The food could have been mediocre and it would have tasted fine. How did you keep from staring?
Fortunately (or unfortunately) I didn't see him until I was on my way out. It would have been impossible to pay attention to my timings if I'd had the option to stare at him the whole time. My husband might have felt awkward as well.
