I've just discovered a shop to put on my 10' Pole List

Poor hubby! He's signed up with Coyle and is doing phone shops for them. He has to call travel agents and pretend to be interested in a European tour. He was given a list of 27 agents to call. Each call pays $8, but here's the kicker....if you call and ask for the specific agent and they are unavailable, you don't get paid. He's called 5 agents so far. One is dead, and 2 are no longer with the travel agency. He spent a good hour and a half total and will only get paid $16. I heard him throwing things in the other room!!!

I was actually considering signing up for these, until I saw the grief it's causing him.

I'm not a big fan of targeted phone shops myself.

Arguing with fools is like playing chess with a pigeon...
...No matter how good you are, the pigeon will s@^t on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

Not scheduling for ANY company.

Life is a Giggle - Embrace every moment
I have had good and bad experiences with this company. The scheduler I dealt with (Kim) was awesome. The editor, I forget her name because she was rude and not worth my time, BIOTCH! I only do things they beg me to now and only for a huge, HUGE bonus.

If I'm going to do it, it WILL be worth the aggravations dealing with the people and the reports. That being said, to be fair, I am horrible at grammar BUT I have a person who is an English major edit the reports before submitting. Still I get grief... all the time...

O.o o.O

Happily shopping New England and beyond!!!!!

Tell your husband to send them a bill anyway. He probably still won't get paid, but it least sending them a bill would be sending them a message that they need to hear. If they continue to refuse to pay him for work completed according to their instructions, he should let them know that he will no longer be working for them. There are plenty of other companies looking for experienced reliable mystery shoppers. I have removed my name from their database, and nevertheless, I have found myself continually busy.

I hate targeted shops of any kind. Things change targets move, quit, get sick, and even die. No thanks
I tend not to do targeted phone shops. Doesn't seem worth the trouble and the pitiful pay.
Hello I have done several of these Target shops and agree they cause me grief, and I say no more. But then
I give in and think it will be different this time, sometimes it is and sometimes not. There was one I did that the
on the instruction it said clearly, if you get someone else make an appt. but don't keep it, then call again till you reach your target then make the apt and go. Well I did just that. Reached my target kept the appt. submitted my report then................
got an email " Client will not pay you, you did not speak with the target first" I wonder how many free jobs they get this way??
I don't shop for Coyle anymore. Too painful.

Another 10' pole shop - Starbucks audits! Too hard to get photos of everything they want prices on - especially without anyone noticing that you are snapping photos of everything on the menu.
