I'm a big fan of asking for a bonus . . .

So far I am at 100% on getting bonuses that I ask for . . .if you call my house, I will get a bonus out of you for a shop. =)

I did something today that I've, surprisingly, not yet done. I've had an awesome month of bonuses with Marketforce, and wanted to keep it rolling, so I went on their site, looked up shops in my area, wrote down the Shop Numbers, and called Marketforce. Took awhile to get through, but I got someone after calling a few different numbers and getting voicemail.

She was pretty confused when I explained that I'd take these shops, but at X amount, especially for one of the audits. She took my number and Shopper ID and told me someone would call me back if they could accept my request.

Three hours later, got a phone call back. I got the complete amounts on three of them, including the audit, and 85% of my requested fee on one.

Never tried that before, but I think I'll be making it a habit from now on.

Plan the work. Work the plan.
Gas and tires aren't free. I love to help out companies that have been good to me but I have to have the job pay enough. Thats just the way it is. I do local ones for base pay but I'm going to need way more than that to travel 100 miles.
I need to get more guts to ask. I have at least started asking IF there are any bonuses when they call, but only if it's one I'd consider doing. I'm thinking about saying, next time they call for the Arches shop that I'll only do it if there's a $20 bonus. I just flat out turn those suckers down!
Tracyvp, Sometimes it works to just call Market Force as if they called you and you were just calling them back. They had to have called you at one point sometime recently LOL. They will check their "hot list" and if they have anything for your area on it, they will offer it to you. If not, they will just say that whatever the other person called you about must be taken already. I do that routine when I need filler shops.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
Some grocery shops have been bonused really good. I responded to the email and asked for $6.00 total for 2 stores. The scheduler couldn't believe it and called for verification. I told him that I needed groceries and if I had a toll of $3. for round trip and $3 for gas. I didn't think he needed to know about the bonus I got for the pizza shop in the same area. LOL
I asked for a bonus for a shop because it was due that day and they wanted me to do it. The bonus was denied and I denied the shop. The next day it was on the job board for a bonus larger than I asked for. I didn't take it because I was booked solid with my regular job. Oh Well!
