Schedulers Ratings

Do schedulers that give you a rating share it with other mystery shopping companies or just use it for assigning future shops.

I recently did four shops for a company; all shops were similar, three shops got a 10 rating and the fourth got an 8. I can't see any difference. In addition, the scheduler, wrote me a personal email. Thank you for for a great job; your paperwork required no editing.

It depends whether the scheduler is in house or an outside scheduler. Obviously an in house scheduler is not going to share information with other companies. Outside schedulers working with a company would appear to have access to your information and past performance. While they really should not be sharing that information with other companies, they do appear from time to time to be a law unto themselves.

Shop scores do tend to be somewhat arbitrary between editors. While it would be helpful to know what you messed up on a low scoring job, you can go crazy trying to find out. If your scores are generally excellent it would probably be equally useful to wonder what planet the editor came from. Luckily most future scheduling is done on an average score and the chances are that the editor from Planet X has reduced the averages of others as well.

I get the from Bare sometimes. They give me an 8 or a 9 with a comment "Thank you for a great job." That is really not helpful. If my score is lowered I would appreciate an opportunity to improve. Typing a comment like "Thank you" is just as easy as typing something like "Please use proper punctuation" or "Please spellcheck your reports." I generally get 10s from other Sassie companies and even from Bare. But sometimes they just give you an 8 or 9 and there is no way to know why.
Bare tells me "Thank you for a good job", next time don't be repetitive or whatever. I have been getting 10's from them lately, love when that happens. 8/10 is o.k., as long as they keep sending yopu jobs, they like you...lower than 8, I'd stat=rt to worry.

Live consciously....
