Thanks for the shout out! The shoppers that do these assignments find them simple to do and love the fact that no purchase is required.

Paranoia much?

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
I don't understand what the problem is about the driver's license. It's our most commonly used picture ID for all purposes. The stores use it to track too many returns by one person. Too frequent returns without receipts are usually the sign of a shoplifter and inputting your number in their returns tracking system gives them an alert on over-activity. They're going to do what, steal your number and drive on it? I've used my license for years for product returns and never had an issue. Not saying it won't happen, just saying it hasn't happened yet.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
My favorite shop! In and out between 45-55 minutes and a short, easy survey. No purchase is my favorite part. I've never been approached EXCEPT... when I was counting women's underwear...I dread when that category is in rotation! Fortunately, both times I saved it for last and left the store immediately after being approached.
I have done these shops several times and pick them up whenever I can. Usually takes me about 30-40 minutes for the shop and less than 10 minutes for the report.

Jancyn's customer service shops pay $3 less and in my opinion they should pay more than the sizing audit shops. That shop involves requesting employee assistance for locked-up merchandise, dressing room visit, restroom visit, a purchase, a 2nd visit to return the item, various observations and timings, etc. I don't accept those unless they are bonused and usually not even then.

Wait what? The Customer Service shops for this client can be done in half the time of the audits and reports are just as simple. If anything, the guidelines of the customer service shop is simpler than the audit.

The audit should be paid much more than the customer service shops pay...

I've been curious about doing these audits. Thank you to everyone who posted tips! I'm going to give one a shot now and see how I like it. :-)
If by the clothing store, you mean the discount retailer that sells clothes, shoes, home decor and some beauty products, then yes. It is not too much work. The count takes me just about an hour, and the report takes not time at all (less than 5 minutes). They are often bonused a bit in my area, so I usually hold out for the extra pay, but if it fit into my schedule, I would not hesitate to accept one at the regular rate.

I know they also do counts at a smaller women's clothing chain, and I have not done that one. I do believe it includes a few more requirements than the count-only shops at the large discount retailer.

The harder I work, the luckier I get.
I found this thread last week when I was debating on whether or not to take one of these shops. After reading all the tips and tricks I decided to go for it.

I did my shop today and even though the store was a mess (it's my local store and it is always a mess) I did it in about an hour and a half but next time I'm pretty sure I'll be done in an hour or less. I downloaded a free click counter app for my phone which made counting a breeze. The report took 5 minutes to do.

Thanks for all the great tips on doing this shop!
