If by the clothing store, you mean the discount retailer that sells clothes, shoes, home decor and some beauty products, then yes. It is not too much work. The count takes me just about an hour, and the report takes not time at all (less than 5 minutes). They are often bonused a bit in my area, so I usually hold out for the extra pay, but if it fit into my schedule, I would not hesitate to accept one at the regular rate.
I know they also do counts at a smaller women's clothing chain, and I have not done that one. I do believe it includes a few more requirements than the count-only shops at the large discount retailer.
