Not sure where most of you live, but $2 for premium?? I am still paying $2.34 for regular due to the 30 cent increase to the gas tax in PA. The fed is going to raise the tax again, so it's only a matter of time.
It's about 1.73 here or so. In the real boonies (Texas) it's higher. So, I put just over $4 in the car and buy a coffee or hot chocolate.
I saw $1.75 yesterday at a Valero in Fort Worth.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
Thanks to the MSC that pays tolls, I drive 10 miles to the bridge and fill-up for $1.63 per gallon vs. $2.34 here and do a few grocery and mobile phone shops while I'm there.
Here in Buffalo, NY were getting rapped at $2.65 regular.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

I have avoided those shops since moving to Oregon since it's illegal to pump your own gas here. I'd feel dumb pulling up to the island and asking the guy to pump "two gallons please" into my car.

I stopped caring about what they thought or being found out a long time ago. I've had plenty of attendants look at me weird when I ask for 2 gallons. They know you're shopping them immediately and honestly, I don't care. It's not my job to create the guidelines and if the MSC and client make them in such a way that I'm caught, too bad. I did my part.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
When I pump my gas onto the ground, I just drop a match on it so it will burn off. No mess, no cleanup.
