Part of the email reads "Please ONLY complete this survey if you are interested in applying for and accepting a new store credit card for one of these high ticket item store segments .... For this shop you will have to purchase an item that is in the $1500-$5000 range, apply for the store card that is offered by the store that you purchase this item in and be approved. In most cases a return will not be possible so it must be something that you will be interested in".

I saw that. Must be willing to buy something for 1500-5000 and keep it for a fee of $250. Interesting lineup of merchants also. In my area many Lawn and garden, tractors, construction equipment, farm implements etc.

No jewelry stores for you ces1948? My area has all that you've listed, plus a couple of furniture places and jewelry stores. Hmmmmm . . . what do I want for Christmas?

Not sure I would be willing to take on a new credit card with a sizable balance unless it was something I planned on buying anyway.

I got the same post. Could you find out ahead of time if the item is returnable and that you would get all of your money back.

Personally, I don't like any shops that require me to obtain a credit card. It hurts your credit if you have too many dings on it.

From what I understand the item is not returnable. Big layout of money and ding on your credit.
