Where are you shopping today?

I have my favorite local movie chain theater shop tonight. Dinner and a movie (and a drink)! One of the few shops I will do for reimbursement only.

I did a GS audit this morning before work, and I'll be doing another GS audit and a McDonald's shop during my lunch hour.
Three fast food, one treat. Sunday is going to be a killer. Thirteen in all (gas stations, ff, compliance) and covering 200 miles, but I am breaking my record for one day income so I'm happy. I might even take next weekend off to decorate for Christmas.
Today is sweet. Mexican lunch and a cell phone shop. That is good because I need a break leading up to Thanksgiving, been working my arse off this week and I am tired!
Today was extremely light- just a phone shop to a furniture store. It's my day off from work-I usually cram in a ton of shops but didn't today. I have been doing lots of surveys and one online focus group to make up for it.

Tomorrow however- a tobacco compliance (I don't smoke, but it was well bonused), a grocery shop, then a nicely bonused grocery store audit. Oh, and an arches lunch.
Saturday- oil change, arches breakfast (love their egg sandwiches), grocery shop, and a TGIF lunch with my family.

1 highly bonused Mobil gas station shop. Could have done it for 2/3 what they paid me but hey that was 2 weeks ago when I offered and they said no.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Finishing up my last two mortgage telephone shops, prep for my Medicare shop and an electronics demonstration observation shop. That is it until December.
Got home last night after a 995 mile route. I have 18 bank reports, 2 new home, and 1 new home video to get done. I think maybe it's time to invest in Dragon.

Finished up for the month around 1 pm today. It would take more money than any two MSCs have to blast me out of the neighborhood until December 1.

Did two high end retail and a phone shop today.

Normally don't do retail but couldn't say no to the bonus this time. The first one was a purchase reimbursed shop and I figured I'd get about $7 added to my effective fee by paying with my 3% cash-back card. With the shop being in Waikiki, the associate asked me where I was visiting from. I played along and pretended I wasn't local, not wanting to throw off his assumption that I was a rich tourist. I went as far as answering yes when he asked me if it was my first time to Hawaii. But then it comes time to pay and he asks me for my ID after I give him my credit card. I have always chosen not to sign my credit cards so that cashiers are supposed to check my ID, but this time it bit me. I pretended to search my wallet then said, "Whoops, must have left my ID at the hotel, guess I'll have to pay cash!"

He said he'd be happy with anything that had my picture on it so I hopefully looked at my Costco and Sam's Club cards but notice they have a recognizably local business name on them and tell the associate, "Shucks, the pics are too faded to even telll who it is."

Fortunatly I was actually carrying cash which is strange for me, but I've learned my lesson.
No shops for me today. Had a bank shop scheduled for today but was able to reschedule and do it yesterday. That frees me up to have lunch with my mom and then see Mockingjay Part 1 smiling smiley
Off today.
Sunday morning full buffet breakfast at hotel
Later taking granddaughter to mall where we will valet shop, and also pick up a Christmas ornament. May add a pizza shop (she loves pizza and is staying with me over the school break), but that is pretty much my limit.

Another OD protection bank near the beach and, God forgive me, a special order McD's. It's bonused and I'm such a sucker when they call and sound so desperate to get it filled. Luckily it's close by.
Just got the reports from my trip this week done.

I took a day off today to do a lot of cooking and catch up on my sleep, as well, after I completed my reports last night.
Coming up are bank shops, cable shop, first show checks (one of which is Hunger Games Mockingjay 1) and an upscale dinner shop.
A model home, a bill pay shop, a quick clothing store and dinner / drinks / apps at Moxie's tonight.

Always take the high road.
My super easy theater check was canceled due to the theater listing the show time incorrectly (luckily the MSC is not holding this against me). Back in action tomorrow with an ink audit at the drug store and exit interviews at Best Buy for three hours (I admit I hate these, but it's decent money so I caved).

Thanks for your kind thoughts and PM's. smiling smiley

This back business is really cramping my style, I tell you. I was ready to hit the road and make a lot of money, which I need badly, but I had to hurt myself.

But, on a brighter note, I am getting better and that shopper that is stealing shops in MY area had better watch out.

I am ready to hit his/her area next week. winking smiley I know who you are. tongue sticking out smiley smiling smiley winking smiley

I had the whole weekend off. Yesterday, husband had a merchandising reset that took almost the whole day. And today, I was talked into a Papa John's delivery shop, highly bonused.

November is winding down. I have a whole bunch on the 30th, but other than that.. am pretty much done for the month. Now for dentist appointments and Thanksgiving.
I don't work on weekends. And I don't shop during the holiday season except fine dining and resorts. Life is good.
Relaxing today. Tomorrow I have two video home shops, then on Wednesday I have to reshop one of the locations I'm doing tomorrow, but with a different agent.

Canuck:

I had a serious back problem since I took a fall during that bad snowstorm last winter. There was a time when I had to crawl to the washroom because I could not walk from the pain. Eventually, I was referred to a neurosurgeon. He told me he would schedule a back surgery in three months if my condition did not improve. He told me to go swimming or do Pilate and Yoga. I used to be active on those things but somehow stopped them and just did brisk walking or the treadmill.

So, I followed his advice and even took up healing dance and zumba. I went back to him last month and he decided not to do any surgery. He said I did not need it.

But honestly, I believe swimming is the best cure because I regularly do it now. I never miss swimming 5 times a week. I still manage to do mystery shopping but I wear my runners often, bringing with me a dressy pair of shoes for the high-end shops.
I have a pain killer in my purse but not once did I have to use it. As he said, I have to live with the condition should it become serious again.

Get well soon! I know how it feels. It is too debilitating. Take care.
Had a wonderful time at a fine dining shop yesterday. The ambiance, food, service was on par. My DH and I had wonderful conversation. I so needed and enjoyed it. Not fun doing the report when you get home late and are relaxed but it is still so worth it to ME. Didn't do any shops today as had to drive the kids everywhere and spend time.

I see many Dec. jobs have been posted. Scheduled myself for a few during work and on my way home. I just hope I can keep up. Looking for some shops where I can get some great Christmas stocking stuffers for my children.
Thank you risinghorizon. I have Rh.Arth and am all weird in my joints. My back's better. I did a shop today and the back's not getting worse. Phew! I have pain every single day but this back pain was a killer. I've never experienced this kind of pain. I couldn't tie my shoes, couldn't walk properly and ask me how I used the bathroom here. What a performance! I'm glad you did okay. I'm doing better it seems, if I take it easy that is. winking smiley
