Where are you shopping today?

I completed all my shops today during the downpour. But it was the comic book shop that really annoyed me. It had moved but no notice online. I had to chase it for almost two hours and found the new location closed and no store name to indicate that it was one and the same.

I could have left it at that from the start when I kept on getting "not in service" but I checked online and I found another number. Again, no indication that it had moved. With the pics on the sign, I could have gone home because I was already wet. But Noooo, I had to check it out. Thank God I did the cable shops first or I would have had to reschedule and I hate doing that.

I forgot to add about a shop I did today which reminded me of Cettie. Well, I opened Rogers door and lo and behold, four, no doubt about it, huge and bulky Toronto policemen who practically occupied the whole store. I was about to go but one of them smiled. "Do you want service? Come in." I was trapped!

The associate was practically shooing me out, telling me they did not have any promotions. "Here is a telephone #. Call Customer Service. They will be able to give you discounts." I thought, there goes my last shop. No meaningful interaction with the associate. Must get a business card.

Well, anyway, a man came in and suddenly the policemen were gone. The associate was giving me a demonstration on the TV and I completely forgot about them. Then I saw the same man across the counter. My big mouth opened, "Were you the reason for the presence of those policemen?" He said, "I definitely was not!" I said, "I'm sorry. I did not mean it that way."

Well, it appeared he actually stopped any trouble. Whatever it was, I was no longer interested. I had an 8 hour deadline for one of the shops.
I have two new home video shops tomorrow and a Ducati motorcycle shop. I'd better prepare myself for sticker shock. Ducati is a subsidiary of Lamborghini and there's a lot of carbon fiber on the bikes....translates into $$$.

Just finished a Ritz-Carlton, apartment video shop, and a Mi Cocina Monday night and Tuesday. Picked up some Aveda and chocolate at the mall while getting in some personal shopping and MS valet parking at the mall. All that's left before the New Year is breakfast Sunday at Black Walnut Cafe and dinner Monday evening at Maggioni's and one last apartment video shop. UNLESS somebody really wants me to do a shop. And by "really" I mean $$$!

Today is another Dior shop. God those Lady Diana bags are cute. Learned a lot of history about them last night at the other Dior shop. I feel like I would have a bit of Princess Diana if I bought one of those. 20 years next year since she passed away. Time flies...

Gym shops yesterday were really something. First gym was absolutely stunning but not something I would pay nearly $200 a month for. Second gym, I had the most gorgeous sales Rep.. God help me. Mystery shopping has its perks but according to the guidelines, I must stop all communication with the reps including using any free gym given. I can't even ask this guy to go out for coffee! Ha!

No shops again today (or since monday actually). I am at a Chipotle having lunch and wondering why there are 4 managers here.

Also I am fairly certain i have a pair of boxer briefs just like the ones the girl cleaning the dining room is wearing. As shorts.

The dealership only had Monster 821s in stock, $11,500...plus helmet, boots, jacket, etc...would be about $14,000 out the door. But it looked and sounded so much better than a Harley.

Furniture shop tomorrow. The report looks simple, the scenario looks p--- easy. $20 bonus. So why am I suspicious?

Did one of my two remaining Chipotle's. They were soooooo slow. I'm done until 2015 unless something fabulous comes along. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas everyone.
I did not want to do a shop but as a favour, I agreed. Was I glad to learn that I did not have to do it because the client asked that the shop be cancelled because holiday is here. It's one of those purchase and return upscale shops. So, today, I was glad I did not have to dress up. Nevermind the bonus. Smooth sailing today.
Only two electronic big box store shops today. I now know so much more about the 2 way car starters and alarm system combo. It wasn't cheap at a sale price of $999.00.
Had breakfast at Micky D's. That's my last shop for the year . . . I think. My regular job is super busy at year end, plus all of the holiday things to be done, will make it very hard to accept any more. Not a bad thing.
I just picked up 4 bank shops, 3 Monday and 1 Tuesday. I also got a Five Guys for dinner tomorrow.

Ulta and Trader Joe's and not for work. I have to spend some money at Ulta to maintain my rewards card status so it means some goodies for me and some goodies for my niece.

At least that sounds less expensive than making a few hotel stays to make Diamond in Hilton this year. :/

Five Guys and wireless shops today. How do I fit it in with my busy Saturday with church activities and a party? Can't reschedule as today is the last day.
Black Walnut Cafe for breakfast this AM. Maggioni's for dinner tomorrow. Picked up a valet shop after Christmas to do a favor for a scheduler. Waiting on a video shop target to be identified before eoy. Also waiting for confirmation on a bonused oil chainge where I am looking for a 24 hour turnaround. You know me, those 12 hour turn arounds kill me on anything but the simple ones.

Haa, I agree those reports are terrible! Even after doing them for a year or two they still take me forever to do. I did a fine dining shop last night and the dinner shop took as long to enter as the Chipotle shops.
TGI Friday's. Not bad tonight -- better than last time I did this same location. I wished we had had the waiter who served the next table, though. He was amazing, friendly, joking, offered great suggestions, etc. Obviously, for him and his guests, it's always Friday in there!!! smiling smiley
Today I had Hooters, which I picked up yesterday with a bonus. Today I picked up my first hotel shop at Homewood Suites, and I check-in tomorrow for one night. I have to check out early because I have an airport shop at Ruby Tuesday's before I board my flight for the Bahamas for Christmas. smiling smiley smiling smiley smiling smiley smiling smiley smiling smiley smiling smiley

No shop today but shops on Christmas Day and two more days in a row. And they are my relaxing shops, movies. I will be seeing a movie on Christmas Day anyway, after church activities, so thought I'd accept these shops. Got a lot of frowns from friends but parties are later. Reports are fast and no hassles. I'd like to see Unbroken.
Shopping Cash 4 You today.. My sister in law will appreciate the phone card smiling smiley

Oh, Dixiewhiskey, I did among other things, five of them last Friday. Unfortunately, there were no $5 phone card. So I ended having 4 $10 Telus phone cards and $5 Long Distance card. The four I gave to my son but I really have no use for the LD card.
So easy and they were having customer appreciation week.
Video bank shop today; I was inside for 6 minutes which worked out to be $10/minute. I picked up two Presto shops on my drive home.
