Sunday was Amtrak all day! After rising at 4:40 AM, I was limp by 9 PM. Good thing the report is simple.

Yesterday I did 4 grocery shops and 1 Aldi's shop. Today I did 1 gas station shop for $40.

How are the Amtrak gigs? Wanted to sign up when I saw them offered, but I didn't have any auditing experience.

Amtrak is fun if you love trains. That is a small group of shoppers who do all of the Amtrak shops. I would not call them audits. But they are pretty intense with continuous observations throughout the trip and in each station before each leg of the journey.

My wonderful dinner at Gyu Kaku my favorite Japanese BBQ 3 mile from home. Had to cancel my retail shops due to not being able to drive freeway while on new eye drops.....

The Amtrak client requires that the MSC use a small number of trained shoppers for all of these shops and all the shoppers must live near one a a handful of major Amtrak stations. There may be openings for more shoppers for the team if someone moves out of the area or dies, but that's about it. They recruit once every 12-18 months, in my experience. These are not simple reports and some require several nights away from home.

Two banks tomorrow - one in town and one about 20 mlles away.

2 garages For a change of pace, one will be video. I am taking a video novice along and will spend quite a while with her to help he be ready to do video in October. Then a ton of EOM reports and more garages tomorrow as I mop up after shoppers who did not complete assignments. Final reports due on Sunday. Monday is a day OFF!

I picked up a cell phone purchase and return. I was almost ready to make the purchase when I realized I was in the wrong location. The correct location was in a strip mall across the street. Luckily, that one was in and out.

Lazy boy...boy are they comfortable, and the pretzel shop, had a hot dog pretzel...so good.

Next week there are entertainment, phone, and retail shops. There is one audit. There is need for a nap and to practice with my handy-dandy little pneumatic mani/pedi tool kit so that I do not need the salon...

(Do any companies reimburse for hair coloring? I need that, too...)
