Thank you so very much for the prayers, good wishes, hugs and great ideas for shopping. All of you have shown me so much kindness I am overwhelmed.
Being a scheduler would be too stressful, I imagine. Editing is a great idea. I briefly did some editing last winter, the first two surgeries stopped that. Editing was fun, I might try to find an MSC who needs an editor after I know what my surgery schedule looks like.
Here is the update: Had tests yesterday, appointment today. Both surgeons cleared their schedules and surgery #6 will happen tomorrow. They are trying to get blood flow to my left leg going one more time. We discussed amputation, hopefully below the knee if we can maintain the blood flow that far down. Doctor said that amputation is inevitable, they are simply trying to hold off for as long as possible. I am resigned to losing a part of my leg. I am pretty tough and will deal with it. This can't be worse than the Neuropathy in my foot.

My plan had been to move into a Independent Living facility in Maryland, close to my kids. My house has to sold first, then I can move. Now I might have to look at Assisted Living instead and that is more than twice the cost. I don't think I can afford that, I can barely afford the Independent Living places. My daughter has looked at three places so far. We used Facetime and I was able to see the apartments and common areas. We found one that is only 15 minutes from my daughter's house, has two bedrooms and is affordable. There is a Senior Center with an indoor pool in walking (wheelchair) distance, something I was looking for.
This surgery tomorrow is messing up my schedule. I was making lists of things to sell and planned on going through all my clothes (fat, medium, skinny) to sort out those that I will donate and the medium ones I will keep. Keeping the skinny ones would be wishful thinking...
I thank everyone who encouraged me to write a report about the Rehab facility. I will definitely do that. I initially wrote to the Administrator, but did not get a response. You think I should include the episode with the male patient who walked into my room and urinated on my bed? I was not mad at the patient, I was thoroughly ticked off at the staff who refused to give me a new mattress. "We cloroxed it, it's clean!" I slept in a wheelchair the remaining week I was there. There were many other things I could list. Some happened to me, some happened to other patients. I know were to send this, I just don't know if it will do any good.
Again, thank you!
