Smart Watch

Anybody out there shopping with a smart watch? I don't know much about the features of the current watches but am lusting over the Apple Watch (I know, I'm in the minority).
I can imagine being able to talk into your watch to take notes. How freakin' convenient would that be?

If you need to take voice notes while shopping, get a small voice recorder that allows you to have an inline mic. I have one of those when I do my cruise/resort shops.

When I am done, I upload the recordings to my computer, play it back to Dragon Dictation at 85% speed, and correct as needed.
I think you're missing the point--- SMART WATCH!! winking smiley

I told you I was in the minority. Your idea is really awesome, too.

As someone's said, a dedicated digital voice recorder is much more convenient and much cheaper.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
Anerrorhasoccurred and Tarantado
Could you please share the models of your recorders? Thank you in advance
Holy Dick Tracy, Robin said to Batman. It only took 68 years to get it commercially viable. The Star Trek communicator took about 35 years. uh a flip phone, although the tech behind it is a lot more limited. Reach is only 3 to 5 miles not earth geosynchronus orbit. Yeah yeah I know about Sat phones. They only reach low earth orbit and look like Vietnam era Walkie Talkies. Hmm, and I think most were made by Motorola.
Hoju, I agree the smartwatch sounds cool.

My first thought after reading your post was of Michael calling Kitt through his wristwatch.

Yep, that dates me for sure!

A reminder to everyone. If you live in a two-party consent state, you can not record a conversation (on the phone or in person) unless both parties have agreed in advance. If you get caught, it is a felony offense in two-party consent states. [Some companies get the consent of their employees as a condition of employment, or include a statement at the beginning of the call that the call may be recorded. Don't want to get recorded? Hang up. Want to talk to someone? Get recorded! If Samsung (for instance) is paying you to call BestBuy (for instance) and ask questions, they have NOT gotten the consent of each of the Best Buy employees. Think jail time. Are you being paid enough?

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008

I'm glad I shop in a state where consent is required from only one of the parties being recorded. And that would be ME smiling smiley

I don't know.....wouldn't it look more natural to talk into your phone instead of your wrist?

I guess that would depend on whether or not your shop involves guarding the President.

LOL! Too true! I used to love the gadgets on Get Smart and Star Trek. It's nice to see that we are finally able to get some of them now. I draw the line at the shoe phone though :-)
