I agree. The malls are crazy already. I don't like malls during non-holiday season, so I think it's time to stay clear of them unless I go early, early early in the day. Crowds and hunting for parking makes me exhausted.

This is why I take from Black Friday to Boxing Day off except for really juicy shops and my regular audits.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

LOL! And I picked up a toy shop in one of our busiest malls for December 14. **cringe**

I used to work at a mall Customer Service desk, so I'm a bit of an expert :-)

Next weekend will be horrible, but then it backs off again for the first week of December and slowly ramps up to a frenzy.

I am a merchandiser in my full/part time w2 job. Never ever go into a store on the 1st of the month or the 15th of the month. The day before Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is the first year in several that I am not working Black Friday at some Walmart somewhere. Was going to go with the wife, but her schedule got changed at the last posting and it is too late to grab any of the jobs.
