Page Plus Dealer Surveys

Anyone else pick up one of these shops? Do they expect these dealers to stop what they're doing and fill this thing out? Its six pages. I'm standing in a store with 8 other customers and they're slammed.

Your mystery shopping a car dealer on a Sunday?

Is this the cell phone shop? If not, there is a mystery shop which turns into a reveal and a required survey to be filled out by the manager of the cell phone store. I looked at that requirement, laughed, and deleted despite the relatively good pay.

Ok cell phone shop. IMHO never do a reveal shop at a retail store on a Sunday.

I signed up for one and am doing it tomorrow. After seeing all the questions I wonder if the employee will answer the questions or tell me to go away. There was a spot to say the employee refused but I hope it wouldn't effect the pay.
I'm in retail. If an auditor from my company shows up and we are busy we tell the auditor to come back some other time. Weekends are off limits for them. I'm not sure why any company would allow a MSC to schedule a weekend audit. That goes against common sense.

For many of the audits I do, I am not allowed to go away, even for 5 minutes. If they refuse my visit, then they generally have to sign a form stating that, and I then go away. They don't get a chance to fix things up.

I was amazed that there were cell phone audits and mystery shops scheduled for the day the iPhone 6 came out. I am not an idiot. I stayed far away from them. Why would you schedule visits for a day when the lines were literally out the doors, with people camped out for days in some locations? Some of the clients and schedulers must live in a parallel universe where the iPhone 6 was released on a different day?

I did this shop this week and am waiting to see if they pay me. It was horrible. Once I revealed myself the dealer got very angry and it was ugly. I was scared but I wanted to calm him down before I left so he wouldn't be angry at me. I let him vent and he actually gave me some information I could use in the report. I walked three blocks out of my way (in a snow storm) before returning to my car so they wouldn't see my car. The problem I had was that they asked what company I worked for and I said I was from XXX company per the instructions. They didn't carry that brand so they didn't understand why I would be there. They asked for my business card which of course I didn't have. It went downhill from there.
I just did one tonight and it was a nightmare. He was really upset with me but was professional and started the survey. He only had 2 questions left and told me he was done as it was closing time by then. There were some crazy people yelling outside and he was a gentleman and walked me to my car. I won't be doing these again. I don't care if if I get paid for this one. This guy had an immaculate tiny shop and was trying to make a small living and was selling his heart out to me. He basically told me that I tricked him and looked really defeated. I feel bad about the whole thing.
