I would sit here, knowing I had reports to complete, but needed a break. So many other shoppers have provided a support system, and I am grateful!

Cettie- Your stories that make me laugh when I need a laugh.

stilllearning, LisaSTL, MDavisnowell, gypsymonkey, jonk, jpgilham and walesmaven (and several others; not trying to turn this post into a novel)- Your wisdom that you pass on is one of the most valuable parts of this forum.

dspeakes, BBird0701, EricInTampa- Through some of our previous disagreements, I have learned that it's good to consider another person's point of view.

dprice- Your knowledge of scheduling that you have passed on to me is very valuable! Thank you!!

bgriffin- Our familiarity with the same ex-scheduler provided me with some stress relief.

Anyone I missed, I'm glad you're here. This is much more than a "water cooler for mystery shoppers". It's more like a help desk, college course on mystery shopping, and support group all wrapped into one package. This forum is probably THE most valuable tool for a new mystery shopper! We don't always agree on everything, but that makes us human.

I have been recommending shoppers who make contact with me to check out this forum.

Thank you to everyone!

Arguing with fools is like playing chess with a pigeon...
...No matter how good you are, the pigeon will s@^t on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

Not scheduling for ANY company.

I have! Or like last night, watched Maleficent instead of doing reports. As long as I get it in before the deadlines.. lol.
Yep, it's an integral part of my avoidance routine....and all the better if I have PMs. smiling smiley

Sorry, my reports don't come first. I've got my internet priorities lined up - (1) email (2) the forum (3) Google news and (4) work.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
Google news? Hmmm, hadn't thought of that....great idea, MDavisnowell! smiling smiley

I am pretty anal about getting work done before play...I find that if I procrastinate working, I don't really enjoy what I'm distracting myself with anyway, so I just get back to work. :/
Oh, I don't know how often I have done that. I am not a frequent visitor to the Forum but when I am on deadline, I don't know why the Forum seems to beckon me. I often just lurk but other times could not avoid joining.
I plead the 5th

Just lost trying to find a fire pit in a concrete jungle wishing it was a wooded glen...

if it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all

I am the same way so I normally work first and then play (after I am finished).

MSPA Silver Certified. Shopping San Francisco, the North Bay Area, and beyond. smiling smiley
My new rule is reports have to be done first since I had a near miss last month. Got home, did stuff all night and went to bed. Suddenly remembered I never did my report. Depending on what time zone they are in, the report could have been 10 minutes late. So as a result my reports get top priority (after I eat dinner if I am really hungry).
I'm doing it now, i.e. reading this forum instead of doing my reports.

"Evolve thyself and lose all hate...." Orphaned Land
I'm lucky. I have 2 dogs that need all sorts of petting so they stay sane. Then I have to feed the outside cats &, unload the car. Hook up the laptop and then maybe nuke something to eat.

Theoretically I get an hour to decompress. Then again, I do love my don't have to report for 24 hour shops. Sometimes I really just need a nap and there are only a few days I'm not afraid to take one.

Getting on here, bad idea. I would lose all track of time.
