Targeted makeup shops

Hi! I just signed up for my first targeted make up shop. I was just wondering what would be a natural way to ask for the targeted agent and request an appointment? Thanks so much! This forum has been so helpful. I think I may have seen discussions about this topic previously, but could not find it when doing a search.

I usually say that my a friend of my co-worker said they were really great and to make sure I asked for them.

About Face does a lot of targeted make-up shops, but I don't do them often. I dislike targeting and prefer unrevealed or even reveal shops without a target.
I've do these shops often because I LOVE the brand of make up the target artist is selling. In my experience, the one or two people on the target list are the only ones working the counter. They should be stating their name when you answer the phone and you just book an appointment with them. If you're not sure it's them, when they answer the phone introduce yourself and say "and who am I speaking with? Is this the (brand name) counter?"

The only time I have had a non target answer the phone is when that target no longer worked there and so a makeup artist from a different counter was answering their phone until the brand hired someone else. And this was obvious because they answered the phone using their brand's name. When I used that little introduction above, they explained that no one worked that counter anymore and a new hire had yet to arrive.

Thanks for your explanation. I have often wanted to take one of these shops but I read on the forum all the problems people have with targeted shops. I do not want to travel to a location and find the person not there and these shops, unlike most in my area, often get bonused. Now I am energized to wait for the end of the month and take one.
You could say you overheard two strangers talking in the locker room at your fitness club about the great service they got from the target and noticed how good they looked when you saw them in the mirror.
I say the same thing about a co-worker. They have such a high volume, they'll pretend to remember whoever you say.
You helped my friend pick out an amazing shade of lipstick. I have a drawer full of lipsticks and I just want to finally get the right one. Will you be there today to help me?
