Wait she actually gets paid to eat at Five Guys

I have gone to the local 5 Guys without a shop. I did go to some location more frequently when the scheduler pleaded with me that she got flaked and the deadline was near. That company has a computer that does not appreciate when you help a scheduler. They cut you off.

I have not done a 5 Guys in years. I do not get called. I would like to shop them. The turn over is so quick I am sure even the managers are no longer there. I did many different locations. It could be months (when I was doing them) before I repeated the same location.

I did report honestly but fairly. If they cleaned it up or resolved the issue like filling the catchup machine or cleaning the restroom I did not report the issue. I did go back and check the restroom if it was still a mess they got "dinged".

It is impossible to keep a floor clean during peak occupancy but if they get the brooms and towels going and clean up the place they should not be "dinged" for it. I am sure that confused the staff that knows they should have been "dinged".

If they gave me nasty fries and I told them I want fresh fries they not only did it, they gave more than an extra scoop. I did not report they gave me left over fries from an hour ago.

You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want ..Zig Zigler

Don't let anyone know where you heard it.

I think that the biggest red flag is when a customer watches every facet of the food preparation instead of sitting down and waiting like a normal person. How many times were those fries shaken again?
Enter at the same time as somebody else. Keep a spare eye on that person. When they leave, that's your exit timing.
Actually Fastjack while that sounds logical they are looking at video.
They can match up your receipt. They want YOUR exit time not another customer.
Why not just grab a spare receipt and report that? It also would be dishonest.
Stick to your own correct and accurate timing.

I have noticed the fees often increase only by a few dollars on the boards, but if a scheduler calls me, they will go much higher. Like today, the shop was still on the board for $8, but the scheduler offered me $20, and there was still 4 days left to shop.
Rainy,

I have actually never seen Five Guys shops bonused in my area. If shoppers are doing them at a Premium it is off the boards and I haven't done enough to qualify. I have done other shops for this MSC, and I get the bonus offers for those shops. But I guess I haven't done enough Five Guys Shops yet. I haven't gotten the phone calls from this MSC as of yet either. But I have been shopping for less than a year so I do not really expect them.

You just have to keep at it and eventually you will be able to get a bonus. But it also depends on how many people shop for the MSC in your area. I was looking at the 5G in my area and I had to check the maps to see where they were at. When I refreshed the screen to select one that was on my way they were all gone.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shops. I do them as often as I can. Anytime I travel anywhere... I look for these. The food they give me is enouh for 2 people. I ordered the little cb with "all the way." That is the best value for the money. winking smiley
My only "beef" is that they won't pay enough to allow me to get a decent burger. Good grief their real cost is only the raw food not the retail price.
I do really like the food, but I think I got busted last time. The last time I was in, the crew was playing around and were having a very specific conversation. They have fallen off my list, but I saw one on jobslinger. So I guess I am out. I hope they come back. It was one of my favorite shops because I eat there even when I don't shop.

I did a 5 Guys last month, and the receipt showed "employee purchase" $0.00. But I paid the $10.79 the cashier charged me. Obviously, there was stealing going on there. I submitted the receipt with a clear detailing of the visit, and was paid. No questions asked. Wonder if that cashier still works there...

I would have called the police and had him arrested on the spot. Why be an A**hole about it you ask? Because in effect he is also stealing from me. I have been screwed by someone doing just that. At one time, I spent the majority of my time on the road and had to turn in receipts for reimbursement on the per diem. Just grab them and stuff them in my wallet or shirt pocket. Now I have this app on my phone that lets me take pictures of receipts and it keeps track of them for me I can print out a report on the 1st of the month for the previous month. A company that I worked for had everyone download the app and use it for expense reporting. Got into the habit of taking a photo when I got the receipt, of course, I would get asked why. I would tell them the company that I work for is really anal about expenses but on the plus side the money for my expenses is deposited in my account every Friday.
