Closed for the holiday

Got a self assign shop from Inteelishop for an oil change. Before I even self assigned it I called the location to see if I could get on the schedule. They scheduled an oil change for me for today. I thought nothing of it since one of their competitors is open today.
I drive out there and walk up tot he store, the door is locked and no employees are in site. Frustrating. Now I have to try and get it done around my work schedule and the next two days they are open I work 13 hour days.

If by "they" you meant the service center, and they scheduled you for today, but were then closed today, it would seem that the shop should be reported as a closed location, and that you should be compensated accordingly (unless this was reimbursement only???)

Intellishop pays no fees, just reimbursment only. And ya it was the oil service center that I talked to on the phone and scheduled with. I have until the 6th to do it and I am close to needing one so I am going to have to do it Monday or Tuesday if they can get me in before work.

I don't take many shops with no fees but a synthetic oil change around here is $60. I can either pay $60 myself or do it as a shop and get it all back. I am coming out ahead there.
I also called the place today and have an appointment for the last day of the shop window.
