ID'ed by Papa Johns

Totally baffled how Papa Johns ID'ed me but I received an email from the MSC saying I am banned from their assignments because I was ID'ed. I had completed two delivery shops in two separate cities. There was barely any narrative and it was just pics. I cropped out the personal stuff around the pizza. Any one ever been "caught" by them?

Two delivery shops in two cities? Did you use the same phone number for each? I can think of dozens of legitimate reasons for it happening, but considering how suspicious PJ employees can be, it would surely be a red flag. It really makes me wonder what Papa does to them if they fail a shop.

I was ID'd at my local store for home delivery. I gave them perfect ratings, which they deserved. Their loss.
Yes PJ's is in Cali. Horrible shops, terrible pizza and they do everything to not pay you.

I've probably done 100 shops now. Didn't get paid for 1 out of 100 due to MY error.
He's probably threatening them with botox injections! tongue sticking out smiley

Damn You Canuck you beat me to the punch I was just about to post that about botox injections.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Sorry for the delayed response. The shops were not bad, which increased my bewilderment. Not that I loved their pizza but it was nice to know I could snag one here or there.

I did one to my house and then had one delivered to a hotel I was staying at the next night. It was about 46 miles away. I can't remember the phone number I used but both were ordered online. I didn't even use the rewards program sad smiley
Do you think PJ has caller ID? I use three different numbers but I have considered just making up a phone number. I do several shops for them each month. Two weeks ago I did 4 locations in three days.
Almost every business that does business by phone has CID, along with printable call logs and who knows what else.

Papa Johns asks you for your phone number when you order by phone, so I assume that they don't have Caller ID. Love to all Shoppers reading this forum! Night Owl at 1:40 am.
I spoof my caller ID with a VOIP for every delivery shop. This way, I am not in the computer as a bad tipper!
J/K - They have notes based on address as well as phone number with most pizza places.

I got this first hand from a pizza delivery guy I know. And if your a crappy tipper, and the driver leaves for 3 deliveries, your going to be last.
As soon as PJ's declared they would cut workers hours due to Obamacare, I vowed never to grace them with my presence in any of their stores.
I'm delivering food for a company that isn't shopped on a part-time basis. If we don't have your correct phone number and the driver can't find you, then you won't get your meal.

Just another aspect to think about.

Have PV-500 & willing to travel.

Absolutely according to the two friend of mine who delivered pizzas during college.

I have a PJ's less than a mile from my house. Always begged to do, but after several screw ups from PJ's, I refuse to do them. i co uld walk there! The pizza isn't good IMHO .. when we left So Cal in 1999, PH had JUST introduced the specialties.. I don't buy them or go to PH only b/c the toppings are ridiculously sparse nowadays.. love their sauce smiling smiley I go for Papa Murphy's every time.. tons of topppings, lower priced.
Yup I was outted by PJ too. I can not do more shops for "at least a year." Likely I was tipped off because of the unconventional delivery location and the fact that I reported the delivery guy asking, "Do you need change back?" from the $20 I gave him for the $12 pizza (rude tip hinting.) I always find the "Do you need change back"" just another gussied up way to ask "Can I have it all?"

I can not imagine they turn in shoppers who give good reviews -- only the ones that give marginal or poor reviews. Papa Johns is allowing their managers to "call the shots" and fire shoppers who are honost: it they dont like you -- and guess right that you are a shoppper -- you are fired as a shopper. Manager "wins" (no more bad reviews from that shopper), Papa John, the MSC and shopper lose. This teaches shoppers to keep thier mouth shut and not give honost reviews. PJs outght to reconsider the need to fire outted shoppers so quickly.
If you ordered online, doesn't that link the two cities to you personally? That could have been the thing that "outed" you. Just a thought. (Two orders to totally different cities that happened to have a shop pulled that night by one person)
I always check out as a guest for shops. They should be glad a customer would actually want to buy their crap pizza while out of town. I don't know sad smiley
I just had fun with PJs. I do many shops in my area. I was on a business trip in Florida ( a long way from Wisconsin) and saw a PJs across the street. Turns out they were listed as a shop. Ordered the pizza, did my photos. took a little piece and gave the rest to the hotel front desk staff. I asked a young guy at the front desk what kind of pizza they liked and ordered that. They were thrilled to get a pizza and gave me two free drinks in the bar as a Thank You. It was just fun and silly to do a mystery shop while on a business trip!

It's a good thing you were not shopping the hotel. Giving away drinks for barter would probably not look good on your report for either party.
I hit 67 before I make a call and my name will not show up on the line. I have had to do that where I am calling a different shop but the same company. This is on my IPhone .
I have done about five Pizza Hut shops. I usually make it a point when I go there and am ordering to turn to my companion and say something like, "I have to take a photo of the pizza because I have all these bodybuilder friends who are on chicken-and-baked-potato diets, and I want to make them jealous by posting a photo of the pizza on my Facebook page. That way, I have an excuse if they see me taking photos. But I go to the most inconspicuous corner of the Hut to do the photography anyway.
