Exxon audit discovery of the year!

I had several recent horrible experiences finding gas stations through Google maps so I started confirming that the site listed on the MSC page was actually correct by going to ExxonMobil's webpage. I found this quite accurate and has great info such as hours of operation so I can ensure I plan my evening routes with enough time to get them done before the location closes. When I was on the website today I noticed that there is an app you can download to your smartphone. Simply type in the address and it pops up hours of operation, features, and best of all if you hit the directions key it gives you the location of the station on a map so you can find it if an exact address isn't found by Google or there area several stations in the same area.

A lot of the hours and information posted for the individual stations on the EM web site are not accurate. I learned that the hard way. The addresses are usually correct. I think I have run into one or two with slightly wrong addresses.
That sounds great.

However, the title of your thread suggested to me that you might have found Cettie in the bathroom. smiling smiley

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut

Oh and you are the customer and the customer is always right Except when he isn't.
During my second to last Mobile audit, which was in a rural area and at a historic station that has been featured in various magazines, I was having a nice chat with the CSR who had worked there for 31 years. It was late at night and there were no other customers. They had a nice gift shop with souvenairs. I did not notice any porn anywhere so I casually said, "You dont have any porn around here do you?". I didnt get the total denial I was expecting. Instead he turned beet red and escorted me to the cigarette lighters and pointed out a few that I did not notice. I came face to face with life-sized (or with some bigger than life sized) realistic looking lighters shaped like male appendages. Yep, I had a " find" that night. I included photos in my report. Dunno if they count but I figured the ladies at that MSC would get a kick out it (or maybe not).

I, too found out the hard way that the hours of operation are not necessarily accurate. Also, the MSC refused to pay me on a shop that the Exxon website states is open on Saturday until 6PM, but was closed at 4PM when I got there.
I am not sure that will always work. At an Exxon shop the other day, the owner tells me he bought the place nine years ago and Exxon still uses the old business name on the Exxon map. He begged me to get them to change it since all of his efforts have failed. When I used the name given on the job order, the GPS sent me to a totally different location. Just saying.....
Since the information I have on the instructions say to check the Exxon site for hours and location, if these are wrong and I was not paid, I would be advancing my complaint to management.
