I just got busted by a cop . . .

Ma'am why on earth are you taking a picture of the trash can in Moe's, said the cop. The employee heard it. I told him that I wanted my husband to build something like that for me in my garage. . . .

Enough trash talking I suppose.

Happy Friday, friends!

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
Wow, I am in awe and bow to you @Shoptilyoudrop. I'm not proud of it, but am fairly sure I would have thrown up in the trash can. smiling smiley

(heart)

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
I've got to ask - how did the cop respond to that? Did he eye you warily until you left?
Like the cops who chased me from a closed gas station and then laughed when I fell into a puddle, sprained my ankle and lost my paperwork in a creek.

Hahaha...good one you both, hahahaha. Yes, I AM laughing at you.

Fast thinking too!!
A deputy who recognizes me asked me one day what I was doing earlier in the week when she saw me taking pictures in a store. I told her that photos are required for my merchandising job. She was just curious.
I was taking pics for a client when I received a phone call 2 hours later asking why I was there taking pics. I guess the o wner was afraid to ask me so they called the police instead. It was surreal.
My first audit/reveal shop; at least 5 calls were made to the cops. 2 detectives and one deputy later, the employee told the guys; it's her job. She's reporting on everything that is right and/or wrong. Plus she's new so it's taking her forever.

I love that store!

Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning; the devil shudders...And yells OH #%*+! SHE'S AWAKE!
Well, I was taking a picture of a boutique when the owner stopped me and told me she did nor want any picture taken of her store. What to do? There goes my shop. So I decided to take a streetcar but I could not get a window seat. I tried again and again, riding back and forth. Finally a bus was half empty. Took a pic and saved my shop.

All they can do is ask you to leave if your inside the store. They cannot detain you or demand you delete a photo. If your on the public sidewalk, you can stand there as long as you want and take all the photo's you like. The business cannot prevent any photography if your not on their property.

If I need proof a proof of visit photo, take it after you have done the shop. This way if your seen, it won't effect the shop.
I was trying to take a picture after I had completed the shop, as I always do. I was standing far from the store when the owner came out and told me not to take a picture. As it was a very cold day, it took me a while to adjust my digital camera without my gloves. I wondered how she managed the cold without her coat. I am not into altercation...

I had been shopping since 2004 and this should have been an easy task. But, unfortunately, the owner and her mom were chatting inside, but watching from their glass display window.

I kept on seeing him stare at me and I just smiled. I walked by his table as I was leaving and told him to enjoy his day. He laughed and told me to enjoy my trashcan.
