OMG! Shops scheduled and the FLU!

I have a whole route planned for Monday and I feel completely horrible. I just left the Doctor's office and the flu was confirmed. My shops are for several different companies. There's no way I can do them. I'm going to contact all the schedulers and pray I don't get dinged or removed as a shopper. I've never worked for one of them before.

Offer a reschedule date, don't just cancel.

Also, offer to reschedule but ask them if they prefer to remove you from the shop and you will be in touch with them when you feel better.

I am glad you are conscientious enough to not attempt the shops. Flu strains are getting worse and worse, and your health (As well as those you come into contact with) is not something to fool with. Hope you feel better!

It is best that you don't shop anywhere and pass the flu on to others. There should be no reason that you would be dropped as a shopper.

I agreed with Sally Empire Scheduling. Try to re-schedule or let the schedulers help you.

We have snow storms in my area, New England. We have another big one coming Monday. I try to schedule shops close to home. I did have to reschedule N.H. shops. I can't book them ahead in February based on the storms.

I ended up in the hospital last week and had several shops scheduled over a couple of days. Some of the shops I was able to self-re-schedule, but for the few I couldn't I just emailed the scheduler and explained the situation, letting them I know I could do them the following week if they were able to reschedule. Every one of them was kind and understanding and I only lost one job because it had to be done by the weekend. They still had more than 24 hours to find someone so it was all good and as far as I know I have not been cited or dinged.

I hope you feel better! As for the shops, hopefully, they will understand!
