I can not open Guidelines

I have tried to open guidelines for a shop. I e-mailed my scheduler. If I can get some info in here that would be awesome. My problem. When I opened my guidelines a message from Adobe Reader pops up and says the following.

"Adobe Reader could not open 'New Store Name Shopper Guide-2592. doc' because it is not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged."

Anyone else run into this?

Have you tried opening them in Microsoft Word or other word processing software?

if its only PDF...try another PDF reader...I use FOXIT....my adobe got corrupted long ago and my computer won't let me replace it with a new version..

I am a little computer illiterate. Is Microsoft Word and FOXFIT a down load, like Adobe?

I have seen corrupt .PDF files for a certain store and the Word file is fine. I have the full latest version of Adobe Acrobat and it does the same thing. It loads about 3/4 of the way and errors out. You have to use the .doc file.

If it's the one with the shopping list in store sheet on the last page, then we are probably looking at the same exact one.

I am having trouble opening the guidelines for one of the clients with GfK. I'll try again tomorrow.

Try launching it from a different browser and/or different computer. But if the file is corrupt at its source i don't think anything will open it.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
