Suggestions on what phone to use for shopping?

Looks like I am going to have to upgrade my cell phone. I have a nearly three year old android phone that keeps telling me apps are not compatible with this device. So, I bought a Samsung Tab 4 tablet thinking that would work. Nope. Now I get the error on both! And the camera is lousy on the tablet and awesome on the phone.

Any suggestions on smart phones for shopping? I dont have a contract so I can go anywhere, looking at Ting mobile for service but need phone suggestions.

Are you pre-paid or post paid, and what carrier do you use?

There are several options depending on your answer to this question. None of them were offered by any cellular shop I ever did.

You can get a small discreet phone with a good 5 MP camera for $50. You don't want a higher resolution camera as you will need to downsize the photo's for some MSC's and it will take longer to submit reports.

I'm currently taking a Samsung Galaxy Light I got from SprintPCS for $29 to my shops. It's small and has a better camera than the Samsung Galaxy 5. Remember, your trying to be discreet, Not carry a phone that looks like a tablet in your shirt pocket or set on the table.

I have a Samsung S5 and love it. Mine was only $50 when I renewed by contract though and I would not spend $600 for this phone. It takes huge photos, but when I email them to myself it offers options to email full resolution, 50%, 30% or 10% so I can choose based on the requirements (30% is about 1 Mcool smiley and have a phone with camera good enough that I don't really need another. I also love the huge screen when it is time to check photos to ensure nothing is blurry. I don't worry about looking discreet with my phone as most people wandering in public don't. For "discreet" timings I just use one of the apps for mystery shopping using my volume buttons as timing measures and turn the screen brightness down. I then just look like someone who holds onto their phone like a security blanket, as do 80% of the adults between 18 and 60 in my town.

Love my Samsung galaxy s5..... I use memory like a CRAZY woman so being able to add memory is huge for me.

I currently have T-MOBILE but don't plan on staying with them since i can lower my bill by going elsewhere. My contract has been up for some time. I dont want to spend 600 on a cell phone, though I love the features on the Note.

My contract was up so I got a S4 for .99 through AT&T. I am happy with it. In two years, I'll probably get a new one of course. I love my phone. It is a lifesaver and is making me money. ring ring ring. smiling smiley
