Is this citation excessive? Advice please.

I always start out nice anyway and give the other an "out". Then, when I'm 100% sure that I'm up against someone who just wants to be rotten, then I unleash the spider monkey. I think it comes from having eaten crow in the past and I didn't like the taste. I try to avoid it now.

It sounds outrageous.

I actually wound up apologizing and now have no problem with this scheduler. Theyre a riot to talk to.

Could it be diff schedulers, same MSC?

@AlexG: Hahaha! Could it be the same scheduler, the same MSC? Did you get your citation removed? Either way, could you please help @Trishbos?

That just not right. I can't believe it is bare. I would try calling. You may have to go higher up to get it removed or the weight adjusted to 2 max. Best of luck please let us know what happens.

I spoke with another scheduler who could not help.
I've had my issues with Bare in the past and no longer shop for them. I just let Bare go and I don't miss them, really.

Was it Kathy Griffin? I have had issues with Ms. Griffin in the past and could see her doing something like this. I'm not here to publicly put Ms. Griffin on the stake, just to say that I can see where someone would have problems with Bare if dealing with Ms. Griffin.
I had a similar issue when the project required downloading specific software. After more than an hour or two of installing/uninstalling ad nauseam, I could not get it to work on my computer. The scheduler gave me a flake citation. The difference is she responded to my email, in the end felt my argument was justified and removed the citation. IMHO, it is worth pursuing.

That's really harsh.. sorry you are going through this. If you are not ready to call it quits with the company, try speaking to someone above that scheduler.

OF COURSE you can "appeal" everyone has a manager! But as a long time shopper I need to give some advice here. (to everyone).don''t post companies names or schedulers or editors you have had issues with. I am shocked at the number of names and companies I see with negative comments..and I am talking real specific, real negative. Schedulers and editors look at this board ! I just recently joined here but I have looked at this board for a long time. What will Scheduler A think if they see you complaining about Scheduler B? Or how do you think it looks if a scheduler/manager sees a MS complaining about a company? I am not talking about sharing info-or venting-I am talking about how some of these comments "look" and it s not too hard to figure out who a shopper is when they describe a particular type of shop and their profile says the area they cover.

This is not directed at the OP but to everyone in general. I have been shopping a very long time. I have seen dozens ..no wait..hundreds of schedulers, shoppers, and editors and managers and companies come and go. I have had to go higher up a couple times to get payment--it luckily was only a couple times and I did receive it. Maybe my post sounds Parental like..but just remember people see what you post..

I called the 800 number listed for Bare the other day and got a very nice person on the line. I would recommend you give that a try and explain your situation.
That's really not how it works. Employees everywhere sit in the break room and complain about their bosses...and their bosses all know about the complaining. Its the way it is. If bosses had vendettas against every employee they knew who complained about their schedule or work load or whatever, there would be no employees left and the bosses couldn't get any work done.
Sure, there are some petty, thin-skinned managers/schedulers/owners, but the large majority let it roll off their backs because being vengeful is counterproductive.
Roxy..I am not sure if your post is in response to my comment on this post..I can't fully understand it. My post is/was about respect and keeping some things to yourself. I never used the words vengence/vengeful or vendetta. And yes that IS how it works. Trust me..if you don't think there are schedulers, editors and ""further-ups" checking boards like these and choosing the positive, helpful , mature people as opposed to whiners who have venom filled posts (I am speaking of boards/blogs like these and social media..not only this specific board) with horrible grammar and spelling then all I can say is do this for over 25 years and then report back to me. It is not being "vengeful" on their part..it is being wise and business savvy. Companies want shoppers they know will get work done on time, properly and with the least number of edits. There is a surplus of Mystery Shoppers/Mystery Shoppers wanna bes in most areas. That is why compensation is dropping because companies know they can pay less and still get the job completed..yes, we all vent but with the popularity of social media know the whole world can hear and see complaints. What my main suggestion(S) was is for people to be more discreet when talking companies, assignments, schedulers, etc. I certainly wouldn't want to hire/assign someone who I hear complaining and saying my company was unreasonable..it is just good business sense.

Huh! Kathy Griffin? She is among my favourite schedulers there and never had she been rude to me. No way I can picture her doing that. As a matter of fact, she gave me a very good citation for completing shops when I was very ill. She had always been very accommodating. This goes to show that shoppers could have different experiences with the very same MSC and contacts.

Tara is now my regular scheduler. Perhaps I have never encountered your scheduler. I don't think I would have lasted with Bare if she were my scheduler.

Try to straighten it out first before you leave Bare. It would be worth your while because I am sure you will find somebody who will listen to reason since you had been a very good shopper for them, based on your previous rating.
Similar situation. I received a citation from a scheduler at Intelli- shop. She gave me a one with a weight of 10. The problem occurred because the shops were rescheduled several times and then I could not do it because of a scheduled vacation. She got really angry about it. I think because I read on this forum alot of people were cancelling because of date changes and changes to the shop.
All my other scores are 9's and 10's
It is a pain because I can't self assign. The bright side is if I receive it in an email I can respond directly to the scheduler and get it assigned. I have gotten every assignment I asked for this way so the citation does not prevent the other schedulers from assigning shops to me.

At the point they are sending emails, the shops are usually bonused so overall it has worked in my favor.
Hi Trishbos,

I am sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience. We want to ensure our shoppers are experiencing positive interactions with us here at Bare and we would like the opportunity to discuss this scenario with you in order to work toward a positive outcome.

While ratings and citations are at the discretions of project managers, certainly if you feel an unfair situation has arisen we want to address it and work to find an amicable solution for all involved.

I think you will find that anytime you feel unsatisfied with a communication or an experience with any Bare employee and feel the need to speak with an alternate individual within the company and/or escalate a scenario to a supervisor; you can easily obtain the information on a relative point of contact by simply asking. For example, if you feel that a matter has been handled unfairly and absolutely cannot resolve it by working together with your project manager; ask said project manager for their supervisor's contact information.

If you are not able to obtain supervisory information via your project manager, please feel free to reach out to me directly, I am always happy to help and can share contact information when needed.

I hope this correspondence has helped, I look forward to assisting you further.

All the best,

Hello Lexxycon,

I wanted to reach out to you and share some information with you and all members of the forum in regards to Bare's organizational structure in response to your post regarding the site you recommended: While sites of that nature can shed some light into corporate company structure it is always best to obtain information directly from us here at Bare. Also, as you had so intuitively surmised, it is often counter productive to jump so high in chain of command when communicating within a company. Certainly our executives care a great deal about all aspects of the company, however, as they may not be privy to the facts nor events regarding questions/concerns you may have as one of our valued shoppers- a "higher up" in most cases will not be the most efficient point of contact.

Your project manager is most familiar with and capable of answering your questions and fielding your concerns. For general questions I myself am always a great starting point of contact.

I would like to alternatively point you to our "About" section of our awesomely redesigned website [www.bareinternational.com]
In this area you can not only learn more about our organizational structure directly from the source, but you can also see photos of the executive team and learn 3 self-descriptive words about each individual.

Although this feature does not include direct contact information for our team, it will provide you with names and titles. In this way, should you ever feel the need to speak to an individual specific to a title, you will now have learned the name of the individual within the company you are looking to contact.

I would then point you to our "contact" option which will provide you with an inquiry form which you can submit. This form comes directly to my inbox and anytime a shopper is in need of a contact, I am always more than happy to help get them to the most relevant point of contact. I will share the "contact" address here: [www.bareinternational.com]

I hope this information is helpful smiling smiley

I am always happy to assist to the best of my ability and to forward any question/concern accordingly.

All the best to all of you, and thank you Lexxycon, for starting this conversation and creating the opportunity for this exchange of information. smiling smiley

I think this is solid advice, generally speaking. I think the "one hit wonders" that come here to rant and rave without any factual backup are the shoppers that are flagged by schedulers/companies. I feel this forum is to share; both the positive and negative. I think the OP presented her case in a succinct and professional manner. Where else is she to go, if not here, for support? I think there are times when companies or schedulers should be called out. I hope the OP can resolve this, maybe not to her satisfaction, but at least not to a weighted 20!
Tabitha from Bare has posted twice and the OP hasn't posted any type of reply.

Glad my breakroom is not like that..... Must not work with you Roxy......

Going to hijack this thread briefly with my response to Canadamommy: some employees don't even wait to get to the breakroom and will air their grievanaces to anyone who will listen. I was doing a demo at a popular bedding/bath supply store recently and one of the associates started talking openly near the kitchen appliance section (with customers in earshot) about how upset she was with the assistant manager and how she was going to put in her notice to transfer to another store, etc...I had never met this associate before so I was rather shocked that she would confide her negative feelings about her boss to me. I mean, how could she know whether or not I was a friend or had a good working relationship with this manager? I didn't, however, and I kept mum about the whole thing...

as far as OP goes: some people come in here once in awhile and post and then don't click the box for "follow topic" or the box for "email me about replies to this topic". I bet OP will come back again at some point, they might just be busy right now and haven't had time for followup.

I love Bare and have always had good experiences with their schedulers. I hope OP gets it all worked out.
