Question on a mystery shopping e-mail I got

I had registered for an mystery shopping company (will not name). I got an e-mail with their name and web address, for some assignments for doing [a shop]. I applied for the assignments, through the e-mail and got them. Later I went to the main site, logged in, and there were no assignments for me....nothing. I went back to the e-mail, logged in through there and saw my assignments listed. Last night I got another e-mail from them. I responded, but the e-mail came back undeliverable. I can log in to see they jobs using the e-mail link, but cannot see the jobs when I log in using the actual site.

I've ran my anti-virus and malware software, they haven't found anything. I won't do the jobs now, since they don't appear on the company main page. I wonder if someone copied their page and using it to get information from people.

What do you do when you get e-mails from Mystery Shopping companies? Do you screen all offers with the main page?

If they have a phone number on the email, I would call them. If there is not a phone number, I would google them, try to find the main office with a phone number. It may be worth your time, depending on the fees or your reasons for wanting to do the shops.

Also search the forum to see if there is any threads or info on them.
To make life easier in the future, it would have been better to name the MSC rather than the client in this situation. We may have been able to provide more concrete feedback about how they operate and contact information. Save mentioning the client for when you need some advice on the actual shop.

The company is Sentry Marketing Group. I when I log into the main page, I can see my profile, no jobs listed for me. The ONLY place I see the jobs listed, are when I use the e-mail link. I'm going to just forget these jobs, they only pay $10 each. I take these jobs when I can combine them with other jobs in the same area.

From now on I will look for any phone numbers or addresses in the e-mails.

John,
Since you have left the client name in the original post, posting the MSC name is an ICA violation and violates the forum owner's rules.

The other poster was suggesting that HAD YOU NOT named the client, you could just have named the MSC.

Some companies have 2 different websites for shops. I found sentry is doing this and it can be very confusing.

John, you have to log in twice on that website. After you log in the second time it will take you to a screen that has a list of options on the right hand side. Click on assigned visits.

Also, at the top of that same page, you will see your name. Look under your name and you will find a list including a button for Help. Click on Help to contact someone.

I did log in twice, still no jobs listed for me. Some how, when I enter using just the link, it shows the jobs. In fact the link says, no need to use your password, just click the link. I wish I had saved the e-mail. If I get another one, I'll look for more information. I'll quote it word for word.

That may be what's happening. It does make it very confusing.
And with Sentry...they have a client that has a few different branded stores....I know one is listed under 1 page and another brand on the other...it makes no sense....

say for example: it was Superstar Supermarkets that had various brands such as Nova and Big Dipper supermarkets.

Nova jobs would be listed on one site, but Big Dipper jobs on the other.
Which website are you referring to? Are you talking about the Prophet site (where their food shops are located) or their newer Shopmetrics site?

its not just food on prophet....it is also one of the retail
Might not be my area then that Sentry has retail shops, unless you're talking about Feedback Plus?
