TIME SENSITIVE QUESTION - Papa John's Deadline

I performed a highly bonused PJ's shop around 6:15 PM tonight. I have not worked for this MSC/client in years. The guidelines say that the deadline is 12 hours. Unfortunately I am not feeling well - fever and upset stomach - making it quite difficult to work on my reports.

I called the office but they were already closed and the recording says that they are not open on weekends. I believe the schedulers work out of the office not their homes so I have no idea if they check company email from home.

Is anyone familiar with this client/MSC? Does their reporting system just send out an overdue notice or late report email? Or does the system automatically drop the shop after 12 hours? I will email the scheduler but I need to know what my options are. TIA.

Unfortunately, there is more than one MSC which schedules PJ shops. Even in my area, there territories overlap, and from reading posts, there is even a third MSC in some parts of the country. The one I work for, based in California, would probably not even notice if I waited until tomorrow.

I'm not sure what the other MSCs are but the one I am working for is Pacific Coast so probably in CA. I had to prioritize my reports tonight so I am trying to finish one that will automatically drop from the system at midnight. Sucks being sick. TBH, I've been running the fever since yesterday but the stomach thing happened after eating 1 1/2 slices of the pizza.

I will go ahead and send an email to the PAP Team so at least there is a written record. Thanks for help, myst4au.
Sybil, I have done the PJ shop, but for a different MSC. They weren't very strict on the 12 hour deadline. I hope it works out alright, and I hope you are feeling better soon. You're right, it sucks being sick!
By the way, you might want to edit out the MSC's name in your previous post. It's against the forum rules and your ICA. Feel better!
I have found that *most* MSCs that do not work on the weekend are not very ticky about deadlines since it's not like they're trying to edit the report. But then I really don't do a lot of work for MSC's that are ticky about deadlines.

What MSC name?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

I must be blind, I don't see a company name in this thread....

And what does ticky mean?

That's one of those words that's hard to define.
An MSC that is ticky about reporting deadlines might be ok if it's and hour or two late but not twelve hours late.
A REALLY ticky MSC would be upset if it's 1 minute late.

Ticky, like a clock goes tick-tock?

Has nobody really ever heard this? Must be a southern thing.

bgriffin - you are now questioning your own expression (tickly)? Or are you referring to tick-tock? Tick-tock is used widely in children's books, and is in common usage in the Middle Atlantic States when talking to todlers.

Nope, not questioning it. This word has been in my vocabulary for years. I just looked it up in an online dictionary and it does not exist. That's when I assumed it must be a southern word. I mean half the things we say ain't in there!

There is usually someone in the office for the pacific coast MSC on Saturday. I know I have called in reply to a bonus email on a Sunday and they answered!
I have found that if you start the report, then it will just scream (email you) when it goes past the deadline. YMMV.
I hope you feel better.
Hilarious. I actually thought ticky was some crazy autocorrect and you meant picky!

It is very similar to picky, but not exactly. Like getting a ticket for going a mile over the speed limit. That would be ticky.

How about persnickety or picayune?

A combination of the two might perhaps be a better definition?

I finished my other report before midnight. I took some Nyquil so I should be properly drugged out soon. For the person who said that I named the MSC, I didn't. I referred to the client name and then abbreviated it to PJ's. I referred to the MSC being on the Pacific Coast but I still did not name the MSC. And I said TIA which is short for Thanks In Advance, not the name of the MSC.

As for the Big Ticky Debate of 2015, wasn't bgriffin the one who was suffering from Lyme Disease which is transmitted by ticks. If so, maybe the ticks affected the part of his brain which controls his vocabulary. Or maybe he is just a Southerner who likes to make up his own words.
Maybe ticky like peanut butter ticks to the roof of your mouf?

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.

I did two of these in the last two days. The "report" takes about 5 minutes total, including uploading. Probably took you longer to post????
@SoCalMama, I was working on another narrative heavy report when I posted in the forum last night. I am a multi-tasker and I prioritized which reports were imperative to get done first. My PJ's report was not due for 12 hours. I just got up early this morning and completed it on time. No nasty emails or anything. I just wasn't familiar with that MSC's deadline policies since I had not worked for them since 2012.
There are three MSCs that work this account in my area. Four if you count the one that shops them via a 3rd party delivery service. I've never done that one as they only reimburse a flat $10 and they want you to order a ridiculous amount of food.
