AT&T Revealed Audit

I'm curious if anyone has conducted one of these audits, how much time they take, and what is involved?

Thanks for any info.

From my experience, and, granted I am slow, I would say from 15-45 minutes, depending on the circumstances. I have found the main factors which impact the timings are customers.

Personally, I really like doing them and, if the fee is fair, I would do one after another. smiling smiley

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
The pay seems a tad low for up to 45 minutes of work. I have read issues about the MSC not paying on time. I've just recently done my first couple jobs for them so I haven't received any pay yet.
Our audits take auditors an average of 23 minutes and we pay 2-3 weeks after the report is finalized.

I like these audits. A time of 15-45 minutes sounds about right, although it has never taken me more than 30 minutes. Once you do a few, you can easily get in and out in 15 minutes if the employees aren't tied up. Like any other shop, the first one or two will take longer. Just make sure you get all the required pictures -- they are very strict about this requirement and will invalidate the shop without them. I always take extras. Also, this MSC pays very quickly compared to others and I have never had a problem.
Extra pictures is definitely a great idea!

10-15 minutes unless one of the items you need to get a live photo of is dead. The Apple products then to die a lot and they take a long time to turn back on when they do. Otherwise I say these are pretty easy, though you do have to be exact to the instructions and sit through that video.
The audit app you can use isn't the greatest. overall the interface is clunky and in the drop down menus some words are cut off and some of the other parts aren't exactly clear. It says to have the employee write their name (using a finger on the screen) as their signature but when you click on it and hand it to them it says "signature" and they usually sign it and it seems to get accepted either way you do it. And either way it is illegible.
A recent one that I did, the manager asked me to let him know if their were any areas that needed to be fixed or that didn't qualify. He explained that last time they failed on two things and he needed to pass. DO YOU F JOB is what I wanted to say. You probably knew what you needed to do before the audits. You most certainly knew AFTER the last audit what you need to do and there is nothing difficult on the audit. You run a retail store where you are trying to sell things, why don't you walk around and make sure your devices are still live, especially when an auditor is in the store. I understand people mess with the phones all day long but nowhere in my guidelines does it say I should spend an extra 20 minutes searching for a wifi connection and getting each phone online so that the pathetic store can pass. And nowhere in the report does it say "Please provide the reasons the manager used to explain why the phones weren't live"
I find them easy for the most part, but I always take way more pictures than I actually need. I don't use the app either since I don't yet have a tablet. For this reason I don't take them until they are bonused, it takes me a little bit longer. However, I like them and will do them all day for the right fee.

It can take extra time if you have to wait for customers to move out of the way, or if a device is dead. I had to wait for the store manager to charge one once, but she didn't know it was dead so I gave her a break on that since everything else was perfect.

Every audit I've done the store manager went around and got them all on the correct page for me.

I got paid promptly and had high scores. No complaints.
CoffeeQueen, the devices need to be working before you enter the store.
Allowing them to charge a device is not something you are suppose to do.
Letting them correct issues defeats the purpose of the audit.

Also, do not let them bring up the page that is suppose to be up for you.
I caught at least one store that saved it into memory so when they brought
it up, it appeared to be working but in reality when you went to it yourself
the connection was not working.

Thanks for all the great info! I did pick up some of these shops mainly because I love audits!

If everything else hadn't been perfect I wouldn't have allowed her to charge the device. Good point about the live pages though. I'll keep that in mind next time.

Still doesnt matter if only 1 thing wrong or 5 things wrong. ATT has strict rules for their audits because the vendors pay premiums for their devices to be displayed in certain ways and by letting stores cheat it does not allow them to properly address it. Not to mention, creates a headache for the next auditor who follows what their suppose to do and doesnt let them fix it, then the mgr says "well the last auditor let me do it."

The store personnel are very helpful and they really on take 10-15 minutes unless there are issues. I take more time to drive the route than doing the shop...
I think I did this one with another MSC then had to come home & enter it. I have been thinking of doing one but I can't get many apps on my window's phone. Guess it's time to make time to get to know my phone.
I would do these over and over if I could, but I can only do them every 180 days, that is the only thing that is bad about it, I really wish they would change that. I have gotten to where I can do them in about 15 to 25 minutes. And this company always pays me every 2 weeks. I just did 4 last Friday, the 13th, and my payment is pending, so that means I will be paid on Monday for them. I love them, they are easy easy!! Like I said, I would do every single one in and around my area if it wasn't for the 180 day thing!
I've done some work for this outfit - never again!! I was asked for answers to questions which had not been on the questionaire; was told the pic needed to be of a xxx phone, active and it was that, no pay again. Maybe the worst aspect of this MSC is the total lack of support from schedulers/editors.
Shop is fair at $20 pay. I have done many of these audits.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
The instructions are very clear about what pictures need to be taken. Yes, specific phones. Yes, and active phone copnnected to the internet and displaying specific screens or else you have to tell them why the phone (still the correct phone) was unable to connect to the internet. I don't understand why anyone would expect to get paid for a photo of the wrong phone (it is actually one phone of each type - iPhone, Android, Windows - plus tablets, displays, etc.).

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I love these audits and would do more if I could find them. Once I got the hang of them and had a good cheat sheet they were really easy. The app was more effort than it was worth so I just entered everything manually when I got home.
The reports were straightforward and didn't take a lot of time. Is this the only MSC that has these audits or are there others? Are there other similar audits for different phone companies?
Brusso2892 - I have in the past seen audits for Verizon stores, but it has been a few years. They never got as reasonable as the AT&T audits, but I liked doing them. I REALLY like the AT&T audits.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
GCS? If there are the AT&T audits I'm thinking of, it's a different MSC. Even at base pay; they're so easy with the app, I don't mind doing big routes of them.

Somewhere in the Midwest, shopping / auditing full time since 2014. Will use PV-500 for food! smiling smiley

I have done these and have always gotten paid within 3 weeks. All the details of the audit is in the instructions. It's an easy audit to do. Usually takes from 20 - 40 minutes to do.
I love these audits and 15 to 45 minutes is no time to complete the shop. You have to think normally you go to a shop, conduct your scenario, get your validation, and then come home and input into your computer. I guarantee you're spending more than 45 minutes total time by the time you do everything away at the shop plus filling out the report. wWith the AT&T audits, they now have an app you can do all the paperwork, take the pictures, everything, at the store inside the app; so when you're done with that location, you're completely done with the shop as well. And Dante Beck is amazing; one of the most compassionate and understanding Schedulers I've seen, to date. The MSC for the AT&T audits, is incredibly accurate with payments and very time efficient. Also not only do they use the rating scale, they are very detailed with their comments so if you're new or if you're just doing something incorrectly and not realizing, they point it out politely and constructively. This way you know so you can fix it. There's nothing worse than getting a lower shop ratinng and not knowing why or having very little explanation; makes it a little bit hard for you to learn from it.
Get and use the tablet. It makes a nice shop a great and easy shop. My table paid for itself in the first 30 days.
