I live in Phoenix, AZ, a huge urban area with no lack of mystery shoppers. Due to this I don't seem to find shops with incredible bonuses that others here post of. But maybe my luck is changing. Today I scored two personal banker shops that started at $7 - a fee for which I would pass this shop by - and are now going for $20. At $20 I'm all ears and motivated to do a great shop/great job. This is not a hard shop in my book - I actually like banking shops though I know some here don't - but I draw the line on a banking shop at $12. This is just for me personally - everyone gets to draw that line at which they pass a shop by for themselves. So.....this June when the quarter ends again, please, please, please let there be an abundance of flaked shops at the last minute in Phoenix, AZ lol. How about maybe an abundance of flaked shops with nice bonuses for us all?

I have received some decent bonuses this week. Looking forward to the next several days for those last minute flaked shops.

LOL. But flaked shops reflects on us! How about just begging for those would be flakes to skip the shop and leave it until it goes to bonus!

Banks I am doing are usually now at $35 to $70 and I am not even talking about bonus. There must be something about these shops that make people flake. I've seen bank shops at $12 and they get picked up right away. Because they are the very simple teller shops. Most scenarios for the higher fees bank shops require a lot more. Fortunately, there are many, many banks around.

I refuse to do shops that are below $12. What you probably saw is that these shops were not picked up since the fee was so low. This year I was not able to travel as much as I want so there is an abundance of shops that I can not pick up, even after bonus. Dspeaks works therefor he is not able to take as many shops as he wants. This equates to bank shops and shops needing to be done before 6 pm being left sitting. I am sure there are other shoppers in the area than us however they do not seem to be as active as me & Dspeaks.

If you are wanting money, please explain why you are not traveling to Tucson, Yuma, Flagstaff, Sierra Vista and surrounding areas. I hit Tucson on Monday morning and left Thursday afternoon. I brought in $866 ($625 after expenses). If I want to hit the other areas I would make another $800 for 3 days work. I am grateful you are ignoring those areas because that means on April 15 when I go north for the summer, I will be making $200 + per day.

In short do not say we are flaking. We are just laying low until the timing is right. When my vehicle is functional, it will be a different story. One last thing, November I return to Arizona - with a functional vehicle and my RV.

Just lost trying to find a fire pit in a concrete jungle wishing it was a wooded glen...

I have noticed the shops sitting there on the board in Tucson and have been debating taking a business trip down there to do some shops.....what stops me is my Mom's health is not so great and I'd hate to be out of town if something happened. I had the chance recently to pick up some really nicely bonused bank shops for International Service Check - $50 for basic bank shops in urban Tucson. And I let these go for the above reason....I hope you were able to pick these up and more power to you if you did....I'd like to see people on this board doing well with this.

I don't think taking a break from mystery shopping is called a flake. I think it is someone who accepts a shop and then never does it. Not everyone has the time or ability to take long routes and travel. Some of health limitations. Some have family obligations.
