I did one about a year ago. No real problems other than being in the storage yard early and having to get all the pictures of the trucks. I thought the price was fair for the work required.

I passed on that audit because I didn't think the fee was sufficient for taking that many pictures of that many vehicles and that many people.

Hopefully someone who has done the audit will chime in and give you some helpful suggestions. In any case, after you do one, can you please return and tell us about your experience?

Best of luck!

Anyone completed this? Just looking for tips, advice, or warnings. Thanks.

May I ask how much money and how many pictures? smiling smiley
The fee is $50 and it looks like the required photos will be 50+. I believe 4 photos of the outside of each truck along with photos of some of the interiors. Also photos of each staff member. There's a lot of paperwork to collect from the facility as well.
If a truck leaves before you capture the pictures of the truck and/or the employees in the truck, you have to return. I think it would be really important to be very organized and have a solid game plan going in.

For example, and I'm guessing, perhaps start the audit by determining which trucks will be departing the soonest with which employees and take care of those photos first.

If 50+ photos are required, you will probably take double that (I would) and then have to comb through them, label and upload the better ones. And then there's the paperwork you have to collect.

I sent the scheduler an email, offering to do it for $100.00, if they had no takers. Someone finally took it at $75.00 and I was glad.

Admittedly, Checkmate Inspections has spoiled me.

Would I take a $50 audit, with 50+ photos? Yes.

I would accept the audit. I would make sure I allowed 2 hours on property to give it time for all associates, interiors, shots, exteriors.

Photo audits don't phase me. But I must ask, how long is this report going to take to ENTER? tongue sticking out smiley

How good is the photo program? Easy to sort your photos, upload and get all your information?

Taking photos I love. Figuring out how to get them downloaded correctly, will depend on the website..
I usually like photo audits. Being able to identify the photo for each truck may be a slight pain. Arriving at the facility between 7-7:15 am is a giant pain for me!! And having to return to the facility is a no-go unless it's very close. Seems I may need a bonus first.
I would happily do it for $50.00 if it only involved taking photos of two men and a truck. smiling smiley

@89lulalula89: Oh, so it hasn't been assigned to you?

No, I haven't accepted the shop yet. I usually like to get whatever info is available before accepting something that may be a decent time expenditure.
Yay! Since they don't appear to be "flying off of the boards", hopefully, you'll receive more input from shoppers who have actually conducted the audit, so you can make an informed decision.

Yes I saw that. But after reading the posters previous replies in other threads, I will take their shop issues with a grain of salt.
I have been under the impression this is a half a day + type audit. Although admittedly I have never done one (and don't plan on it).

One half day is too much work for $50. If I end up taking one with a good bonus, I will then update this thread.
My location had 10 trucks. I arrived about 20 minutes before they opened and spoke with the manager. I got all the people pictures. Then I got each truck as it left, all 4 sides and the interiors. After that I took the required pictures inside the location. They had 10-12 trucks IIRC. I was on location just over an hour and it took about 45 minutes to upload the report.

I enjoyed doing a couple of these years ago, when the fee was still much higher. I saw them listed last year with the reduced fee and had to pass. One description said there would be around 250 photos which was a big change. If I remember correctly the site only allows one photo to be uploaded at a time which would take forever with 250.

Oh I thought about taking it when it hit $85. But I was going past the place one evening and realized that it was two men and a truck times a parking lot of trucks. My S.O. said you're thinking of doing that for $85. I said that yep I was, but it will have to move to the back burner and get around to it when the fee goes up by at least half. So the S.O. said sometime between now and when the harbor freezes in Tampa Bay FL.
