Thank You Bonus

I got a very nice surprise today. I performed a 13-shop airport route a little over a week ago. I received all 9s and 10s on my reports so I was NOT perfect across the board. I received an email thanking me for a job well done and the project manager added a nice little bonus to my payment. It was not a negotiated ahead of time bonus so it was definitely a very nice surprise.

Yes it has and it was wonderful. Congrats to you on an unexpected kudos for a job well done!
I'm new enough, that I haven't had a paycheck yet, so I certainly have not had this happen. I would never expect it, so that is really sweet that they did that! smiling smiley
That sounds like a tip. They will come calling for a repeat performance when the rotation period is up. I bet those are difficult shops to schedule and they were very happy to get it done cheaper than they have in the past.
Do not they add a $20 bonus if you complete and submit the circuit on time?

On the other hand, I woke up today and show an email for a classic French super luxury designer, inside a luxury department store, with the "updated" bonus of $3!. Yep, parking is $20 per hour there, but I will run to do the shop for $13. Delete, delete, delete.
Last week I had a bank shop. I never got waited on by the banker, so I went home and called the scheduler. I was advised that I could try again to complete it or they would remove it from the board. I didn't have enough time left to give it another go, so I said remove it. Well, it was a bonused shop, one of two. They added the bonus to the other shop. Only 7.50 but they didn't have to do that. Very thoughtful.
Happened to me once. I was asked to complete a shop towards the end of the month. I didn't ask for a bonus. After accepting the assignment, the scheduler threw on a "Thank You" bonus for accepting the assignment.

One time when I was a newbie and MF called me, asking if I would do an arch shop. I said yes to their offer, and then she said, "Great! I'll just add an additional $10 to it as well."

Shocked the heck out of me.

I wouldn't doubt it some of these airports are difficult to schedule, in general. The airport out here has the same circuit shop.

The issue where I'm at isn't really the pay, but the rotational commitment. Out where I'm at, Denver International Airport's located way out in the boonies and I can't find it profitable to make a 70 mile round trip to complete it monthly.

I did that shop last month at the standard rate (but I had some other business to do at that mall, so I didn't particularly mind. I think the report is pretty easy). The salesperson recognized me from six months earlier, which I reported to the MSC. I figured that was the end of my shopping for that designer, but I've been getting the same emails as you. Makes me wish I'd held out for the "bonus".

Has not happened to me. The closest I've come was being asked to perform an audit with a large bonus that was a fair distance away (I've done it before though). The bonus was even larger than the last one I asked for. Instant win.

You need to wait for at least $15 bonus. Especially the senior staff in each departmnet they know their clients, and if you buy merchandise, frequently you get handwritten notes.

This morning the bonus is $12. Since it is too late in the month, a short month due to Easter, and it is a shop for a luxury client, at a luxury store, I would need more.
In addition, you as a shopper, has increased amount of expenses in clothing, accessories, ability to blend in such environment, and true rotation (you should do self-rotation in these locations as the sales people remember clients and personal preferences, even keep a small black book about clients) and wait or ask for more and NEVER use it as a filler as you shoot yourself in the foot. I would not take it for less than a $25 bonus, and not in the last 6 days of the month for that.

I think a surprise bonus is an awesome idea! That's not something we've done - but I will run this by our scheduler, Erika! There are those certain shoppers that ALWAYS go the extra mile for you and it is very nice that a scheduler showed appreciation. I'm sure that was the intent! smiling smiley We do always appreciate shoppers but sometimes get caught up in the workload and don't have the time to stop and let you all know.

Yesterday I got a call from Kathy at Clear Evaluations. They had a video shopper in the area who was having camera problems and wanted to know if I could help. We met, I loaned the shopper my equipment so she could complete her shops, and there was a surprise deposit in my PayPal account from Clear Evaluations. I wasn't expecting that, just doing a good deed to help out a fellow shopper.

I did get a bonus attached on to a shop this past week. After I had accepted it. Was only a few bucks but still extra is extra.
