Average rating?

I find myself confused. A MSC, that will remain nameless at the moment, gave me the average score of 6 while my scores from the seven shops I've done are 8, 9, 10, 8, 8, 8, and 10.

(8+9+10+8+8+8+10) / 7 = 8.7

That does not equal 6. Emailing the admin got me the response from the FAQ instead of a real answer.

Would anyone have an inkling why the averaging of the scores does not equal the average rating that I am sure is an automatically calculated value by the website?

Perhaps you have a flake citation or two?

I crossed a scheduler at a MSC by asking to reschedule a shop. I didn't receive a response from the scheduler, although it was rescheduled, and the next time I logged in my rating had dropped to 6 from a 9. I was under the impression that all citations on the Sassie platform show up, but that's apparently not the case because all I can see is that I've deactivated email notifications from that company.

My guess would be that you received a citation somewhere along the line.
Thx everyone. The shop log doesn't show any citations but that explanation is the best one that makes sense.
That is odd. Maybe it's someone's new math smiling smiley

If you're just curious, you could probably email any scheduler you've established a relationship with at the MSC and have them explain. However, if it's an MSC you see yourself working with a lot in the future, you may want to resolve and correct it since a "6" may impede you from getting certain assignments.
I don't know.

The only explanation I can come up with is there is/are negative citations pulling my score down that I can't see.
