Video Equipment

Thank you both for helping to debunk that myth.

And if you are stuck with the report, being the plus one would be fine. As long as you don't mind me cheering while my Cards whoop up on your Cubs, hahahahaha! You gotta admit it is the friendliest rivalry in sportssmiling smiley

I hate baseball but I love spending the entire payment and all reimbursement on booze and ive always had a good time with any of the full timers on those odd occasions we cross paths. I'm still jealous erik didn't let me drive his porshe when we randomly intersected near DC.

The majority of companies involved with the video shopping network seem to. I know personally you can get them from shadow agency, measure consumer, I "think" impact marketing, clear evaluations...maybe a few others.

Unless they are desperate though and have nothing to lose those are going to go to people that have had training or are very confident will do the job right. It's a lot more expensive shipping stuff back and forth than finding someone with their own. There are definitely probably a couple of more, but I cut back video to a few specific companies plus I have my own rig so I only ask if mine breaks or something.

I'm sure if you cant' find a company who has one, you may be able to work out a deal to rent one short term. I can put you in touch with some people if you want or depending on circumstance loan you mine. I dont do much video in the summer because theres much more money for me to make elsewhere so I only do things as they come up in my area and I'm typically on cooldown all summer anyway. I get used in winter when no route shoppers are wandering around or as a backup since they know i'll always go. Either way, if you're serious about this and you go t hrough a trainijng program i'll commit at least one to two weeks of time for you to use my camera. Training courses are 150 or less depending on who you contact, but I can personally guarantee (if you are willing to travel at least since I dont know where you live) that you'll make that back in very short order on your first route if you did one. No doubt about it, it's a crazy good investment. If you don't make that money back within your first 3 video shops after training I'll reimburse you. Ive never had to make good on this deal with anyone.

If you do this, i expect you will also pass it forward to another newbie down the road when you're in position to.

I am told that Clear Evaluations is pretty much out of the equipment loan business.

I don't think they are the only one. I've heard from a couple of schedulers that they are tired of shoppers not returning them.

You could also wait until then next IMSC convention and buy your rig from Cody at LawMate at a significant discount. I think the next convention is going to be in Las Vegas in November; however, check their website to be sure. I just got back for the San Diego IMSC convention. It was so much fun and the hotel was plush. I got great training from Kathy Hart on Video shopping, and I just aced my video shopping certification test! I am so happy!!!
I am first, a seasoned video shopper, I would love to hear from you. I help everyone. You don't have to buy gear for that. If you do need gear, I am certainly happy to help.

Everybody,

Dan Thomas with Grey Hawk Gear has some great prices on his rigs! He, also, is a fellow video shopper, so he understands our needs. I heard one shopper say that he was doing a route and his camera broke, and Dan overnighted him a new one. He is a great, affable guy, and he provides wonderful customer service. I just called him, from a MSC's referral, he helped me trouble shoot an issue I was having. He can be reached at www.greyhawkgear.com, greygear@outlook.com, (704) 434-5073.

And no, this is not a paid endorsement. LOL
I have also heard great things about Dan from a couple of top notch video schedulers, although I have not yet met him or bought from him. BUT, I have a button cover that just stripped out yesterday, so it won't be long, lol.
