Noob question: What is a hero citation?

Personally, I would be proud to get one. I am heavy into job satisfaction, otherwise the job wouldn't be worth it at any cost. A pat on the back makes me feel good.

I "supposedly" got a hero citation from an MSC but have never seen anything showing I did or didn't and have never done another shop for them. They have one client here that comes up on the board, always pays $5.00 and food. Did the job for a whopping $1 incentive lol, but I was really new then.
I do not get hero citations. I get "combat pay" when a newbie requests a shop and does a drive by and keep driving to live another day. Often they are "solo shops" last minute with no chance of adding a couple of shops to share the expense. Shame on you if you let a scheduler take advantage of you. The clients can afford to pay more. Go to a Burger King and get a cardboard crown if you want to feel special.
I finally got something out of a hero citation. I have been ignoring this thread thinking it would be boring but it has gotten long I decided to read it tonight and fell off my chair laughing reading response after response. They just kept getting better and funnier. So now I know that what you can get out of a hero citation is a good belly laugh.

I know right? Now it's the "Giftcar" thread to me.
