I am still a believer and do expect to see it. I know most have given up on them entirely, but I am not willing to do that just yet. But I will rethink whether it is worth waiting 5, 6 or more months to be freaking REIMBURSED! Fees are one thing, but money I laid out on their behalf is something else again.

Reimbursement money is money you reinvest over and over and over to make money, and when it is out of circulation that long you aren't making more money doing other work with it.

Certified Reports out of New York -- I have been trying to get my reimbursement for two theatre shops since December. The only way you can "talk" to anyone in their accounting department is to send a Payment Inquiry from their website. I just sent my 7th request. In all cases, I have never had a response. I have been told by their service reps on the phone that the Project Manager was out for a while (this has been over 3 weeks now) and continually get the run around.

What course of retribution do we have? This is so frustrating. No one cares.

are you talking about certifiedfieldassociate.com? If so they have a 800 number and reps you can speak too.

I did get paid today. It was only about 2 months and 1 week beyond the payment date I contracted for.

I hope it was paypal or direct deposit and not a potential rubber check that you might incur fees on when it bounces! I am guessing you are scratching them off your client list now!

I think they only pay by PayPal these days. No, I won't scratch them off, but I will be watching and hoping that they do recover. Until the financial mess I always found them pleasant to work with. For quite some time I have taken the stance that they are decent folks hurt by the economy. I still would not encourage folks to work with them who needed their money any time soon. As I stated above, the fee I can wait on without damage to my business, the reimbursements I cannot.

Their reps tell you that they can't do anything about the accounting dept.
The accounting dept can only be reached by an email link called Payment Inquiry.

Hello everyone,
I have been with MF for over a year and this is my first issue.
I'm wondering if any one is having a problem with getting paid this month(April)with MF. I did a Tax shop for MF in Feb., I have not been paid yet. To top it off, I am still waiting for March shop payments. MF is saying there is a payroll issue. I am still waiting on payment of over 400.00 dollars. If anyone is having similar issues please response. Thank you.

I had problems with them (they now own CRI out of NY) paying for two theatre shops that I completed in December. I finally asked for a supervisor and got paid a week ago. I am quite leery about taking any large payment shops from them. I noticed they have slashed their rates almost 25-50% in the last month. The squeaky wheel gets the check! Good luck.

I don't know if MF's payment terms for the tax shops were the same as their other shops. Payment, if I understood, was contingent upon RAL approval as well as the IRS issuing the refund.

Presumably, your documentation (receipt, CPI. . .) was certified?

Mert, I understand the RAL shop wait period, although I don't agreed with it now, since I was told before taking on the assignment that I would be paid the following month. On the other hand, my March shops which should have been paid this month(April) has not been paid as of this date 04/20/2010. I am very concern. I just got off the phone with MF and I am told that there is a glitch in the system. Well, Well, if so, in which state? I have spoken with other shoppers, in Texas, and they was paid on the 10th and 12th of this month. I am really to take further actions if there is not a better answer when they call me back today. A Texas friend got a check for March work this past weekend. He is signed up for direct deposit but got a check in the mail . . . It does sound like stuff is mucked up over there.

I heard from another shopper that she also has not been paid for her tax shop. According to her, MF is working with the client to complete their validations with all parties involved, and hopes to pay shoppers by the end of April.

Maybe small consolation, but MF does not have a reputation for not paying.

Goodwin was real late. But once I contacted them directly I received prompt payment going back to early 2009. So somewhere there is a problem with them paying on time. Right now they have no shops in my area to consider.

Channelwatch never, ever, pays unless threatened with legal action...

I finally got paid! Sorry it took so long to post the info...MF made a direct deposit into my bank acct. on Wednesday. They paid my (Feb.)Tax shop as well...They also apologized for the delay. I am happy to say that I will continue working with the company. Hopefully this won't happen again. Thanks everyone for your comments.

I quick working for Channelwatch. They never pay and it is so hard to get in touch with them...I guess Legal Action is the only way...they are no longer on my list. AGGGRRRR

I did one shop for Channelwatch in November. After they failed to respond to my emails and phone calls, I just deleted them from my shop folder.

I can afford to write off $11.

Aboutface still owes me for a shop I did in late February. I tried viewing the tracker thing, but nothing comes up. I contacted them and am waiting for a reply. Hopefully they will know something.

There is only one mys that owes me some money for DEC 2009 for a hotel shop done in Dec all of the rest are caught up for 2009.

If you still haven't been paid send an email to heather.stokes@aboutfacecorp.com. That's what I had to do. She responded promptly and I was paid in 3 days.

ComplyTraq still owes me $100 for October shops. I have contacted them many times and first they claimed they paid me then they said I would get a check in December. Now they just ignore me as I ignore their emails about available assignments.
