Anyone doing BB&B?

This big retail store is doing very comprehensive shops. The forms are detailed with little pay. Is anyone doing them? I'd love to hear your story.

I happily did them for the previous MSC when they were highly bonused. There's no way I'm gonna touch them now for the going rate.
I miss doing them for the nice bonuses with the two previous companies. I don't shop for the current company, or haven't in a long while, and I will not consider them for the fee and additional requirements. Harmon, OTOH, is a reasonable shop, but still not at basic fee.

They actually are super obvious to the staff. Beginning with asking for a specific wedding registry that I am sure is clearly marked on their side.

Not those specific but you get the gist. Not normal couples. So if the clerk giving you the registry sees the screen with the note on it she can in theory spread via intercom shopper in the building with again not those words.
It's been years since I did one of those. I haven't seen them in so long, guess I'm not signed up with the right company. Been so long I only remember the ones I did took a
I just did a couple and was pleasantly surprised. The reports are not too bad and I got a new pan and towels out of the deal.

actually, it is a REAL registry....that is why they tell you not to purchase anything off of it (Unless of course you are really going to send it to the couple.....i considered buying a small item and then doing a USPS shop to mail it to them to spite the MSC!)

there have been a couple threads on this...not only is the pay a LOT lower...it is actually a little harder to do...the registry was added into the last MSC while it still had a good fee..but then they added another step of asking a stupid question and dropped the few.....the new MSC made it even harder with the way you carry out the scenarios and have to carry items the entire time if not offered a cart...at the same time you now can't use a cell phone to type notes one handed ..you have to use paper and pen which makes you stand out more
And how do you know for sure it is a real registry?
Thy can say that all they want but I never bothered to look them up in the local paper to see the wedding info.
For the ones we have had recently I would say they are NOT real.

Would be very interested to know how you know this. Are you the scheduler?

There's been a ton of discussions on BB&B over the years. Read one thread, two threads or hunker in and read them all!

Too much work for too little pay. Bed, bath and beyond ridiculous.

How much do they pay? How many departments?

I have never shopped BBB and nor would I, ever! tongue sticking out smiley But still, just wondering how much it pays....
SunnyDays, They are $10 + $8 reimbursement.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.

At least with the last MSC, it did say somewhere that it was a real registry.....and it was an upcoming dates with typical names.....if you did a couple shops a few weeks apart...you would see that there were things removed from the gift registry that had been bought...

Another issue with this is that now you can only buy 'gift type' items..although that is poorly defined (I sure would accept toilet paper as a gift!)...it generally excludes health and beauty aid items...and maybe cleansers and things like that.

you have to do a full eval of one department...but also do smaller evals throughout the store...
Some of them are actually two floors. You have two make two full circles around!

First, thanks for the feedback. Next I have to admit that I've completed a couple of these...well, if they ever pass the editor. At least I didn't start this thread when I was furious. I had no history of this store and its' MS companies. This is what I found: the registry is real, the questionnaire is very poorly written and confusing, the store is big and full of distracting items, and I was a sucker. Way too much time and frustration for little money. Next time I'll ask the forum before I jump in. You are right...stay away from this one.
