McDonalds- Mints & dining room coffee refills

They had someone cleaning the dining room during my entire visit. Then the store manager came around and offered to refill everyones coffee in the dining room and asked how the meal was and then left mints on the tables.

I have never had this treatment before. I was not singled out, yet I bet this only happens during the shopping hours.

I didn't even know they had mint packets.

Glad they're learning from other fast food chains like Chick-Fil-A who's been doing things like this for as long as I've been alive.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
I would have been very surprised if that happened to me on a shop. I would be double and triple checking to make sure I was at McDonalds. Then, I might actually think I was dreaming.
Well, dang! Where is this happening? I did three McDonalds shops recently. Two had good results, one was miserable. Not a mint one! LOL!

Sounds like MickeyD's is going out of its way for customer retention. Wall Street has taken notice of customers fleeing the resto. They're in trouble, folks.

Burger King tried something like this in the mid 90s. They delivered your food to your table, had mints and popcorn...didn't last very long...
I was drinking coffee on a McD's shop once and the manager came by with a fresh cup of coffee, saying I got the bottom of the pot and he wanted me to have fresh coffee. Based on the business level I doubt the coffee had the opportunity to stew on the burner very long, but I really appreciated the sentiment. No mints though.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just forget to load the film.
I read this thread yesterday and wondered if they might be testing this model in certain areas, because I had not seen this yet. Today at lunch, they had someone come around and talk to each customer and offer to get them something. No mint, but the employee was this adorable kid with huge dimples and big smiles. Was actually the highlight of my day after multiple grumpy shops before that.

I had forgotten about that. Yes, they had table service, and you could order shrimp and a baked potato. It was very strange. Oh yeah, and they had that popcorn machine.
