I'd suggest forwarding the email to Walmart and ask them. Look online under their contact us for information. I'm leery about it because it does not specify contact information in the footing.

Because of the English errors, I have a feeling it is a scam.

I don’t think it is spam, it’s worse than that. First, there’s this:

Then they are asking for all the info they need to send that phony check. It looks like classic phishing to me. I hope Walmart thanks you for passing that along to them.

100% scam. Trust me. winking smiley

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
No legit company ever asks for your personal information via email. Not to mention the fact that they sound like a cartoon character.

And if anyone above gives their personal information to the scammer, you will be immediately sent out a fake check. They want your addy so they can rush the check, then DEMAND that you cash it, since you received it.

Isn't that weird? A stranger sends you a check for thousands of dollars, demands you cash it and send them back some money? tongue sticking out smiley
that looks like the standard format for the phishing emails.....they are just trying to get your info..

it sounds like it is not written by someone whose native or proficient language is English..

seriously 'We are waiting your good response.'

i get a few of these per week--at least...they change the name of the company but the rest is similar.
If I ever get a fake check...I am tempted to 'cash' it with my monopoly money and send it back to them.....

When i was selling a car...the scammers were dumber than the people they scam....i got into a conversation with them saying I had a local offer of a million dollars for my lod run down plymouth...and they beleived it and offered more.

I once played with a scammer. I knew he was one, so I emailed him. I had never written him before. I said, "So, $5,000 is okay for me to send you?" and he wrote back "Yes, sure."

It freaked me out a little. I should never use my regular email. tongue sticking out smiley

And then on the dating web sites, (back when I went on those) I LOVED playing with them and I won't post what I wrote here, that I sent to them....But they seemed confused and very dumb....
You can sell that worthless check to some shady guy hanging around the check cashing place for some quick cash. winking smiley

Yes, I'm just kidding.
All other issues aside, they are promising to assign you two evaluations per week AND refer to it as a part-time job. Legitimate MSC's don't promise a certain number of assignments because you're an independent contractor, which means you're free to do as many or as few assignments for them as you choose. They also won't refer to the work you do for them as a job, because that could undermine their assertions that we're not their employees.

The mystery shopper from David Sharman is a scam. He is a criminal. Do not do anything for him. It has cost me $970. I deposited the check he sent me for an assignment with Wal mart cash center and the check was fraudulent. Do not do business with him.

His name is not really David Sharman. He name is likely Abedemi Amenowan or some other Nigerian sounding name. The scammers use American names so you will take the bait. The scammers are making millions of dollars from this, so next week they switch it up, by changing their name again and creating new email accounts.
