Bank Shops

Can someone please give me a list of companies that do/specialize in bank shops. I already have a list, just want to compare and hopefully be introduced to more. Thank you in advance.

Financial Institution shops are great. I do have a concern regarding hoe it will (and it will) effect your credit rating every time the inquire on your credit history. When you open six accounts and close them shortly thereafter it just...well, it looks funny to the credit bureaus and anyone that would legitimately look at your credit. When it comes to business, if t smells funny it just might be is the thought process. Don't be surprised if someone asks you why you opened these accounts and then closed them. And they will see it on your credit history. All of your credit cards, your transactions at all <ALL> financial institutions are tracked in the traditional ways. Plus, add to it the way the world is now with the feds doing their job right and watching for things that could be a problem with the international transfer of $$$.... They are doing their job proper! I have had the same institution for decades. Unless you are going to keep the account allow me to share a personal view, and I stress that it is only a personal view, .... be mindful of the record you create as you do financial institution shops.
Now, that is my view. My view and five nickels'll getcha a quarter. smiling smiley hahahaha smiling smiley

Don
Or just take the easy way out and let others do the work for you. I can't be as polite as AustinMom.
I understand. I don't do shops where you have to open accounts. I did that twice. I love doing the credit card/overdraft protection inquiries. Need companies that offer those. Those work great for me.

Or take the bank shops that don't require you to open an account and/or have your credit history run. I don't even use my real name for the majority of the banks shop so that solves any credit history issues.
They don't run credit reports when you open an account. This has been discussed previously. They do run a check to see if you have misused bank accounts. It is not a credit check. I opened another free checking account yesterday. Now I can do teller shops. Bank shops are my favorite kind of shop. And not the "credit card/overdraft protection inquiries" which I did not like even when they used to let me do them when I was traveling. The Blue Bank does not have branches anywhere near me, so I don't have to worry about them anymore.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
Some of you guys need to post more constructive answers. If you dont have anything constructive to say why write a condescending post?
You are right, sheikh. Here is my best constructive answer to explain building your mystery shopping business to you and to Lennie.

Being a mystery shopper means running your own small business, working as an independent contractor to multiple mystery shopping companies. Beginning to mystery shop is very time-consuming initially, because you will be required to read and learn. The time you spend will be an investment in your new business. All the information you need to start and run your own small mystery shopping business is available free here on the forum. It's set up so you can read-as-you-go, learn-at your-own pace. A good place to start is in the New Mystery Shopper area.

There is a lot of competition in most areas. My advice is to register with as many companies as possible - many of us here on the forum are registered with 150+ - and spend a lot of time reading and researching so you figure out how mystery shopping works and know how to set up your business. It's very time-consuming to get started. Serious mystery shoppers spend a lot of time researching and maintaining their client lists, and those lists are very valuable to them. Don't get discouraged.

Good luck and happy shopping!
Thanks. I've been mystery shopping for a couple years now. I know how it works. I guess it's a looooot of competition in Lansing. Because no one had answered my question. Thanks for you guys feedback. I'll try Google again.
Why didn't you follow AustinMom's suggestion? Perhaps you would get more help if you contributed something to the Forum first.
Why are some of these new shoppers and forum members so lazy? This is the third or fourth post in different threads that I read in the past 15 minutes where newbies are basically asking for handouts. I agree with AustinMom 100%. This is a small business, YOUR small business and you need to put sweat equity into it. So roll up your sleeves and get dirty.
I received my answer in a different forum. Thanks for everybodies feedback. No handouts, we just help each other, that's all. Thank you all.
And I'm not new or lazy. Just use to helping others and receiving help when needed. But thank you for your feedback.

Please write your requests on 10 $100 bills ( not counterfit) and pass them to me.
I happily answer your questions then.
Someone reached out. We've exchanged numbers. I'm good. Found a lot more companies. We actually exchanged companies. I gave him companies that specialize in his favorites and he gave me lots of companies that specialize in Bank shops. But thanks for you guy's feedback. Appreciate it

Send mine in a railroad boxcar packed with poker chips and 2 fer one buffets. I'll be happy.

I have shopped SoCal and LV since the days of faxes reports. (No biggie) Maybe my memories are fading and I am repeating myself, myself, myself. smiling smiley But if you can do a teller shop, a shop for"any service", etc... and not have to open an account, aw heck, go for it. Just do not fill out a credit check / app as that can be an issue.
I have enjoyed the responses here and found out some good stuff! Thanks all smiling smiley

Hope we didn't lose Lennie B. He sounds like a level headed shopper.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
Curious thing Lennie - You asked the same question on your first post 3 months ago and got a response from 7 different shoppers giving you 8 different MSC's that do banks. Isn't that enough or are you still looking for more?

Austin Mom suggested you post you list - haven't seen it.
