13,000 item price check

I just saw an assignment at a grocery store involving a price check of 13,000 items! Pay is $500.

Has anyone done these? Sounds like a 10' pole shop to me.

It might have been a typo. That is less than $0.04 per item. I would ask the scheduler directly. Most of them appreciate it when you bring an error to their attention in a NICE way.
revealed or unrevealed?

It doesn't state if it's revealed or unrevealed. Really doesn't give any info at all. It does state that these can be broken into groups for less pay.

Instructions: "Discretely check the prices on each of the items without drawing attention to yourself. This assignment should take approximately 5 days, not including data entry (or sleep)."

I didn't see that on the instructions. All it stated was that it was for 13,000 items and could be divided into groups for less pay. Heck no.
Are they hoping to get people that will not think this through? They will see the $500 and grab it?
The company where you're checking the items is going to wonder why you're in there all day...
I honestly can't recall the msc. It's one I've never used before. I was going through my list today and stumbled across it, and immediately said "nope!"
and those can be a pain...some of the items can be very difficult to find...i did a shorter one once (about 60 items) i even asked a worker for the location of some items and was told they did not have it....and then the MSC complained that I should have been able to find the items as the last person did..

well...maybe they sold out....
maybe the last shopper lied just to fill out the form
An email I received was to prequalify for audits of about 1,000 items per assignment. I think they indicated about $25 per assignment and mentioned being qualified in advance to be ready to set up a route.

I deleted the email. smiling smiley

You will receive a criminal trespass warrant before you can "discreetly" audit the price of the whole store.

This sounds like a 20 ft pole job.
